Showing October 26 for the phone I ordered if I ordered now, or the 20th for in store pickup.
I get it. It’s crazy to deny pre-orders between 8:00 and 8:05 launch day just because of tariffs but I get it.It may NOT be a glitch, they may just be prioritizing in-store over delivery this year to cut costs. Remember a lot of countries have stopped shipping to the US over tariffs. This may be an on purpose thing to get customers to the stores...
Same. One is 9-25 with trade in and the other is 9-19 pay in full choose carrier later. Blue 17 pro max 1tbYes sometimes order will get bumped up to earlier days.
I placed 2 orders as a backup.

Highly probable it will move up. Lots of speculation the 25th is a glitch because of the order volume. Many also reported they got the same 25th date for delivery but others also saw if they ordered the same config it would arrive the 19th. Very weird stuff.Just got email from Citizens saying loan was approved, I'm going to try to be optimistic and think that means my 9/25 date might move up. (even though it probably means nothing)
Ditto. I understand this is a very 1st world problem but I'm angry that Apple screwed things up this time, Their systems are down, they can't change or cancel orders. I'm on the IUP and I'm told after an endless wait for the management team that I can cancel my order, it will take 24 hours to reset, and then I can place another IUP order. By then the time will have slipped considerably. I had no ISPU option, only delivery. Apple tells me this is because they're out of stock in my local Apple Store but this is not true because if I place an order right now for ISPU using my Apple Card, I can pick up at my local Apple Store on Sept 19. This is clearly a glitch in their system, which they deny and say they have no way to change the delivery time or to ISPU.why shipping never showed 9/19??? Only store pick up, I literally got in at 8:03
Glad I wasn’t the only oneGot a second approval email from Citizens. Very glitchy this year.
Umm...you may have a point...can't believe we are going back to the days of lining up at a physical brick and mortar store for our phones....It may NOT be a glitch, they may just be prioritizing in-store over delivery this year to cut costs. Remember a lot of countries have stopped shipping to the US over tariffs. This may be an on purpose thing to get customers to the stores...
This! It's maddening. This is not the first time they have messed up IUP folks. Two iPhones ordered on IUP immediately when the store opened. Both 9/25 delivery. I wonder if the IUP phones are the majority of the delayed phones. I can go in right now and get the same for not on IUP on 9/19.
Why so many of you doing in-store pickup? Just curious.
I previously have ordered for UPS delivery, but last year UPS eliminated the CCC pickup option that I'd used for years to get my iPhone at 10am on launch day. UPS usually delivered around 5pm.Why so many of you doing in-store pickup? Just curious.
I just placed my preorder to pick up my iPhone on Saturday the 20th. I got a confirmation saying my order is being processed, but I’ve noticed that there hasn’t been any charge on my credit card yet and I haven’t received any notification from my bank either. Is this normal, or should I be worried that my order might get canceled?
I was bumped up last year. Ended up coming on Launch Day.Ordered mine at 8:06 am EST and it shows the 25th, but if I were to order one now, it would arrive on the 19th. Does anyone know if it'll change to the 19th? Has this ever happened to anyone over the years

That was me first - didn't even think about the base at all. Was so stuck on the PM first, then Air. Then I watched a bunch of videos, comparisons, etc. Scoured the side by side charts. For people who clearly do not need/want the Pro or Max level, this is perfect. I don't know how much more wide or "big" the Air will feel vs a 15 Pro, but I realized a little thinner and lighter isn't going to make up for what it's missing, and my hand already aches a little with the pro so thinking that may not work size wise eitherI agree. I've wondered if the people who just wandered in, if they bothered to even watch the event and are just riding on all the usual Pro Max hype?
Edit: I'm basing my statement on the poll results, which shot way up for the PM in the last few hours.
Half the fun is going to the store and getting it early in the morning along with all the other crazy people. And then you have the rest of the day to set it up! And if you can pick it up in a state that doesn't charge any sales tax, that's an added bonus...Why so many of you doing in-store pickup? Just curious.
I’m not so sure if that’s a reason. That would be pretty weird and supposedly US shipments are coming out of India. Also doesn’t make sense when in some cases same configs were showing the 19th for delivery when people got the 25th. Definitely a possibility dates will change in due time.It may NOT be a glitch, they may just be prioritizing in-store over delivery this year to cut costs.
