To all the people that got 9/25 delivery date, did it change? was it a glitch? or still showing 9/25?

Mine has not changed since 3 minutes past 5am when it was placed.

Air 512GB light blue still showing 9/25.

Glad I put in a backup order for ISPU - that one is in the "bag" but I'd rather not drive during my lunch hour to go to the hectic mall.

I keep refreshing the order page every hour - like I do when you track on UPS...

Charge is still pending for me

Mine moved from pending to completed this morning, not on my Apple card. I placed a backup order before my IUP order changed to 9/19 and charged it to my Apple Card. That one was charged the tax almost right away.

Mine moved from pending to completed this morning, Amex card.

Apple Card still says pending, but noticed the date is 9/10 which means they pre-authorized it 2 days before pre-order date.

Even with that pre authorization, I still get screwed with 9/25 delivery.

Mine was 9/25 and changed to 9/19 overnight.

I got an email from Apple saying "There's been a change to your order." with the new date.

I skipped the 16, so I'm stoked to be back upgrading from 15PM Natural Titanium to the 17 Pro Cosmic Orange 256gb. Order was a lil late (around 11 edt), so I landed the 9/25 delivery from Apple direct.

Kind of excited to go back to a slightly smaller device. I only ever did the Pro Max because of the extra camera features.

That's really nice but only delivers 15W to the iPhone. The new 17 fast charges at 40W so I'm looking for something beefier. Someone else posted an Anker beast that has a max charge of 250W GaN. It's not a 3 in 1 but it will work for me. Thanks for the reply though.

I use this paired with the gen 1 MagSafe charger and my Apple Watch Ultra 2. I'll probably upgrade to the new MagSafe 3 charger this year as it would be good to not have to keep stealing this when I travel!

Select few?? There seem to be many "select few"s. Some of us contacted Tim Cook and got a call from his exec team. In my case the rep said he succeeded in bumping me to 9/19. But I also think Apple fixed its internal error after hearing from several of us.

Large majority have moved to 9/19. Clearly was some sort of glitch.

It depends on the store stock in your area.

it'll feel significantly smaller, not slightly! i'm doing the reverse and going from pro to pro max, haven't had a Max phone since XS, it's gonna be an adjustment

I’m really hesitant to do that. I don’t trust ATT to not screw up my eligibility if I do that.

Plus I’ve never known Apple to actually do this. They’ve always delivered in the order they are received.

Canceled and re-ordered my Air 512GB Sky Blue order as it was stuck with not even the temporary charge.

As soon as I re-ordered I got the temporary charge and order is moving.

So, if your order seems stuck or you haven't gotten the temporary charge by now, might be worth canceling & re-ordering like I did. It solved my issue.

Emailing Tim Cook because you didn’t get 9/19 delivery when you ordered. 🤦‍♂️

Worst case scenario, it wasn’t a glitch and you would have waited a few more days for your phone.

It was a glitch and corrected by Apple in less than 12 hours. Those 9/25 orders were always going to arrive on release day. You know how I know? Apple doesn’t provide a specific date if it’s not on release day. If it isn’t release day, you get a range. I.E. Oct 1- Oct 5

Ordered the Air 256GB Sky Blue around 7:00 AM pacific time along with the bumper case. I just checked the UPS app and 2 tracking numbers popped up but it's saying they have no information as they are not in the system yet.

I might have to email Tim because mine has not changed since 3 minutes past 5am yesterday - still stuck at 9/25 - wonder if mine is coming from India instead of China ??

SMH - can't believe I get treated like this - pre-authorized payment, pre-bagged, chose the accessories and then get screwed.

All the while my backup order (ISPU) is 9/19.
