Still waiting for Citizens One approval. It seems I have added security on my account. I called and spoke to a woman who said I will get a text and I must click Yes to verify it was really I who submitted the application. I told her 3 times that I already got a text and replied Yes. Then she said they would call me or send me an email. Wow, never had to go through that all the other years.
 
What’s the process like using T-Mobile’s site / app?

Is Apple’s easier / smoother?

I prefer store pickup, and TMo is right by my house.
 
I think I’m going with the 256GB Pro Max in Blue, I like the orange but I’m not head over hills in love with it and I feel like I might get tired of it quickly, since I had a blue pro max awhile ago I know I’ll like that color.

I just have to decide if I want to do store pickup or shipping, I live right down the road from an Apple Store now so it’d be easy to go in and grab it but also I’m not sure if I want to hassle with all the crowds or not.

They want you going through the UPS store so they can sell you more goods and services. Probably just as well for me this year because I forgot to request to have launch Friday off, and I work for one of the major carriers, so I’ll get my phone in the late afternoon when I’m done with work oh well.

Yeah, I have a lot of inbound and outbound packages and they let me know ahead of time the changes to the UPS CC. One of the workers just wants to finish a few more years so she can retire. Sucks because the UPS stores are privately owned and less security for inbound and outbound packages :( See the YouTube video about the guy losing his 10k Leica thru a UPS store.

Anyone else getting an error trying to confirm your Boost account? It says to contact Boost but Boost refuses to help because they don’t provide support for Apple’s website
 
Hi gang!! After 1000 years on the Apple Upgrade Program since the literal first year without a single snag, I hit a snafu this year...I totally forgot I had all three credit bureaus frozen after the AT&T breach a while back, and got the dreaded "Pending approval" from Citizens. I think I have it sorted now, but their site is hosed, and I'm trying to get in to see my final decision. Good to see everyone, I love these annual reunions!!!

I saved my pre-order for cosmic orange 17 Pro Max. It's bold, I always stick to black, but went with Natural Titanium on my 15 Pro Max. I'd probably do black if it was available. Like the blue as well, but the orange is pretty awesome.

Fellow Wow player here!!! Been playing continuously since 2007. iPhone launch is also one of my very favorite times of year, and hanging with the gang right here!

I am on yearly upgrade (not iUP, T-Mobiles equivalent) and according to them I have to order through them directly to get the benefit, but when carrier financing opens on Apple I'll see what pops up (or i'll talk to a rep or something so I can avoid going direct through tmob, or just add the 17 as a second EIP)

That’s strange, I have all of mine frozen as well and did not have an issue. I think frozen reports allow soft pulls, unless I’m mistaken? Either way, hope it gets situated for you!

I actually got a message from Citizens saying that they detected my fraud alert. Maybe it was because I have that set up, and not because they were frozen, hmmm. I don't even remember everything I did, but right after that AT&T breach I had about 20 hits on my credit trying to take out loans in my name, so I froze everything I could and set every alert I could.

On preorder morning, you will have to select a store and a time slot you want as you check out. You won’t have the joy of / anxiety of tracking UPS planes from 🇨🇳 or 🇮🇳, but you will have the added security of a store pickup at a set time instead of waiting for a driver.

I switched to ISPU after they stopped allowing CC holds at UPS.

Well, after trying to decide what to order this year, I'm going with the dark blue 17 PM 512GB. I kinda dig the orange, but the blue is just more my jam. Friday needs to hurry up! Then the waiting for tracking # to show up. Then the fun begins to see what flights we are all on. Let's go!!
 
Ok I switched...I love the orange, in theory. Switched my save pre-order to the Deep Blue. I think I'd love the orange initially but get tired of it over time. Deep blue seems very classy and gives a spark of color, if only a little.
