They love banning folks on here
My posts got deleted when I asked the same question last year. Even mentioning her name was a red flag here.

Deep Blue for me, I would have liked the pumpkin spice orange if it was polished like the Air was.

Man I wanted the air but the camera was a downgrade from the pro max, It’s like Time traveling back to the iPhone XS days lol

Really wondering if I should go with an Air. At this point the Pro is overkill for my needs. I currently have a 16 Pro and would be happy to sit with it for another year, but the Air is tempting.
Completely agree. Last year I chose the Plus to be my first 16 and I think I was the only one in this thread that did so, at least I wasn't competing with anybody. But I still bought a Pro after the holidays ended and they restocked. However, this year is way different since everyone gets 120 hz.

I’m back for another year for the preorder. Going for the max blue (seriously no black. What a joke.) and before it starts for all the newbies

1. You have to be home to sign for your device.

2. It will take time for your order email to come in.

3. You may not see any movement for days.

4. It will not be delivered early.

I’ve got a ton of gift cards to Best Buy so going to buy a Pro there for the first time. When do they usually start selling new phones?

That being said, make sure to order for home delivery if you want to participate in the air freight stalk-a-thon that ensues. You will become an aviation tracking master.

All I want to know is what happens between 4x and 8x zoom. They didn’t clarify that and even Sales Specialists have no clue. Does it sensor crop? Like if I zoom into 5x will I get a 24 megapixel image? Or an 18 megapixel image at 6x?

This sadly may be the first time in years I don't upgrade...I really really hate the look of the pro max, and I don't know what the camera (which is my main determining factor) is like on the Air. I'd gladly go for the air if the camera is comparable to my iPhone 16 Pro Max but I doubt that'll be the case.

I don't know what Apple was thinking with this one.

Yeah I pickup because I'm within walking distance of an Apple store, but it's pretty interesting following this thread during the shipping phase; it's actually a lot more efficient than I thought, it's not until the local ground portion in my area that I wouldn't trust it.

The colors are bland, but the form factor on the air is way better.

Yeah I don't know what kind of Kool-Aid they were drinking when they designed the pro max, it's definitely different; it's bringing back iPhone 5/5s vibes which was the last one that I hated.

I need all the battery I can get and use my camera a TON for work. Close up far away etc. The Air is so nice but I just can’t do it. Close though for sure

I don’t understand all the flight tracking stuff. I trust the process.
You def dont understand lol. Nobody does it bc they dont trust UPS. They enjoy tracking the phone and figuring out what plane its on etc. Makes the week go by faster.

You ever been excited for a package that you looked out the window for the delivery driver? Now imagine that x100.

I dont do it but enjoy reading the posts in here. One person even stood outside the airport and literally watched the plane land. Thats actually who started these threads but they were banned years ago

Apple really seems to have reduced the value of the Pro line this year with the significant base model upgrades. Not much of a difference in daily use case besides the cameras…

Also, what Pro features this year caused a $100 price increase over last year?

Don't get me wrong, I will most likely upgrade as I do every year, but for the first time Im actually hesitating a bit…

17 Pro Orange here. Wasnt able to select a pickup location yet as this will the very first iphone I pick up at an apple store a state away from where I live due to work

I actually thought the translator abilities were pretty cool, I don't know if I'll ever use it, maybe one of those I'd rather have it and not need it and vice versa tools.
