You could just swap sims....
S/he would still need to pay the extra for the new line.
Not really a great deal though — $20 * 24 = $480.
So Verizon is actually giving you $700 - $480 = $220.
Almost feels like deceptive advertising.

They credit you $29.16 per month for 24 months which equals $699 - you can pay off at any timeWell I'm an existing customer but, you do have to add a new line.
I’m so super happy to get this new phone. I wish I would have upgraded my Apple Watch too now that I think of it but I think I’ll go into the store for that. How many of you guys pre ordered the Apple Watch as well?

Totally - I don't miss the HOME button one bit! I thought I would but the phone was so smooth and got used to swiping immediately.
Been a while since I ordered through Verizon direct but I think it's FedEx here in Colorado also. You could try to scour the Verizon site if you are bored and see if it references it there.

When I preordered on the website it let me change the shipping address to one that was not on the account but I think as long as the billing address and shipping address match you should be okay. Billing address being the card or whatever you used to pay with not necessarily the one tied to the accountIf ordering from Verizon, can they deliver to an address other than the billing address or will they not do that?
I did. One 256 Gold Max with a matching Gold SS 44mm for my mother and a 512 SG Max with a SB SS 44mm for myself through Verizon, all with 9/21 delivery
There's a chance sure but slim, I wouldn't bet on it.Any chance of a 10/3 date changing to the 21st ? Order is still in process
Nice!!! I stupidly didn’t upgrade my watch I’m hoping I can find one in store on launch day if not I gotta wait I do have the series 3 so it won’t be that bad of a wait
[doublepost=1537123940][/doublepost]I wonder who will be the first one to post movement on their accounts #thewaitinggame
Yes. That's what I'm doing with mine, getting it shipped to my work. I did the same 2 years ago.If ordering from Verizon, can they deliver to an address other than the billing address or will they not do that?

No luck for me in getting the upgrade fee waived. The rep just put a note on my account and told me to contact them when it shows up on my bill. Doesn’t make any sense to me considering it’s part of the charge that will hit when the phone ships rather than anything that would ever be on the bill.
Tried again today and finally got a credit for it. The rep was very persistent that they could not waive the fee and pointed out that it allowed Verizon to provide valuable services like "paying your bill over the phone."They were initially only going to credit back 50%, but after speaking to their manager, they were able to credit the full amount. Luckily, based on everyone else's experience, it sounds like I was striking out with the reps I chatted with.

My card just got charged! Xs 256 gb SG model.
It is crazy! I’ve had several tell me that’s not possible, and today the guy I talked with took $75 off my next bill. I didn’t even ask. He told me if I placed my order with him today he could credit the account. He said they can’t take it off the payment they ask for upfront, but they can credit the account.I called to get the activation fee waived and the very nice lady at Verizon didn't skip a beat. Not only did she very cheerfully remove it, she also noticed that the activation fee for my X hadn't been waived. Before I could even ask about it she said she would take care of that on as well.
True to her word, after a short hold she came back on and sure enough my bill had $30.00 credit.
It seems so weird that some reps will bend over backwards to help and others refuse.
