Carrier Verizon 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

In the last 2-3 years, most started seeing movement on Tuesday or Wednesday of the week that the phones were being shipped. The last 2 years, it was on Tuesday night for me.

Looks like there are plenty of Xs models still available on Verizon site, the Max models have been the popular ones.

I would suspect that you would be able to cancel your order, as long as it's not in the "preparing for shipment phase"
Doubt that movement starts until Tuesday at the earliest, but you never know.... the last 2 years it was Tuesday night when people started seeing their accounts being charged and would get tracking notifications.
We probably start to see people being charged on Monday and shipment notifications on Tuesday. There isn't any reason to worry because Verizon will be shipping from inside the US. The ones shipping from Apple are coming straight from China.
Had no intentions of getting an XS or XS max. Was going to go down to the XR for a year and hope for something better with the 11 Max. However, when Verizon threw up that Buy 1 get one $700 off, my wife and I couldn't pass up going to the max. I just hope they ship early now!
I confirmed with a verizon rep that it will come with a new sim card
$785, it was the 256 in mint condition. I just threw it on thinking it would be a few days until it would sell but didn't expect it so fast, probably because I don't monitor the site religiously. You can list at whatever price you want, it's the SOLD price you need to look at. I thought it was a fair price plus I got more than I paid for it last year.

With this Verizon deal, can I sell my phone on ebay, put that money towards the purchase of a new phone and pay off the remaining balance over 2 years? Does that make sense? And tips or advise are welcome.

No. You can’t sell your X if you still have a balance on your account. You can only sell your phone if you owe nothing and it’s considered unlocked. Also,one of the lines on the Verizon deal has to be a new line. Luckily I have 4 lines on our bill. So after they come, I will be cancelling one of the lines the iPhone X was on. My family is taking the X’s from us.
I went to the Verizon Store Friday and ordered mine, Xs Max 512 grey, ship date 10/3. I couldn't pass up the 700 off. I got a second phone for my wife, Xs Gold ship date 9/21, she doesn't like the larger phones. She is coming from a a 6s and I'm coming from a 6+. The only bad news is she has to get a new phone number. We're going to keep her current phone for a month or so, it's only $20.00, and call forward it to the new number.
I tried the X last year but didn't like the small screen. I sold it and went back to my 6+.

No it wont. As long as ur shipping address and billing address are the same. My phone number is not correct also. Ive ordered like this before and no problems. As long as ur cc goes thu
I'm super excited. What I'm wondering, if I ordered both an iPhone and a watch, will I get the watch on 9/21, or will it ship on 9/21? It says "Shipment Date" for the watch but for the phone it says "Deliver By Date". We'll see I suppose. I think the Apple Watch 4 is going to be a huge hit... both of my parents, and my 94yo grandfather are getting one thanks to the fall detection feature. And the heart monitoring. I think that's amazing.
