Carrier Verizon 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

So, I have 2 iPhone Maxes that were ordered Friday 9/14 with the 10/3 date. Sometime in the last hour I have now noticed I have been charged, and the dates are missing from my Verizon site. Are these the last steps people have noticed before you actually receive a tracking #? I know there is like a 5% chance I get it tomorrow, but maybe Monday or something. idk. I AM TOO EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!

This is my first experience going through Verizon directly for my iPhone. Do they have a tendency to under promise and over deliver with their shipping dates, or is their website spot on? Ordered an Xs Max 256 GB on Sunday, 9/16, with a ship by date of 10/3.

I’ve had every iPhone on Verizon and they’ve always delivered on or before the given delivery date.

However I literally just received a text message saying that my order was received on September 20 and that I will get another text message when it ships

When did you pre ordered and what time? I pre oredered last friday around 6pm thru verizon customer service

In my experience, Verizon always delivers earlier than promised. I usually do my pre-order late, so I never had a launch day delivery. But I always got delivery a lot earlier than estimated. This time, I had an estimated date of Oct 3. But my credit card just got charged minutes ago. Now my estimated date disappeared, so I think I'll get my Xs Max 256 gold early next week

They normally don’t charge until your phone is being boxed up for shipment maybe tomorrow honestly

That didn’t work for me. I also spoke to FedEx customer service via Twitter and they said this:

Thank you for the information. I apologize the package require a signature and can not be left with a signed note. We can deliver to a neighbor address or once the driver make a delivery attempt , the package will be available for pick up at the local station that evening.

My phones have not departed from Elizabeth, NJ yet.

Mine left Elizabeth today and I just saw an update it left via Newark to Denver! As to why it’s says by 8pm is bizarre I’ll bet it arrives between 10am and 3pm like clockwork lol I wish ya nothing but victory! Don’t give up

Kind of concerned here...got tracking for my Xs MAX 256 a few days ago now, but it has been "at local FedEx facility" in Elizabeth, NJ for 3 days just sitting there...normally that wouldn't bother me except said "local" FedEx facility is 9 hours away from me. Is it really going to be put on a truck in the morning and driven 9 hours to me?

It will pop tonight don’t fret! Mine went on a tour starting Monday to two separate PA cities and then two separate NJ cities and just left for Denver FYI it will work out for ya

Any idea if there is a way to figure out delivery window with FedEx? They won’t allow indirect signature for my new phone, so I need to make sure someone is available to sign for it.
