I don't know if it's an option for you, but you can take them to a Verizon store. At least that's what my wife and I were told when we pre-ordered our phones at our local store.

You can only do that if you preordered in store, online preorders will receive return stuff in the mail (with the new phone) and can only be returned by mail. That's what I had to do last year with the 6 to 6s.

So just wondering about this, I ordered my iPhone 7 Plus 256GB in Black (Matte) last Friday. I opted to pay up to the 50% mark and trade in my device. Should I have received the trade-in box from Verizon already? Are there any other people in this situation who haven't received the trade in box either, or people who are doing the $650 for trade in and haven't received their box?
I got my trade in box

Any Business Customers seeing any movement at all? People, If you are going to post that your credit card was charged, Shipping etc. please include Size and color of device as well as Time of order and Original Shipping\Delivery estimate. Otherwise you are just being annoying.

Pre-order placed Friday morning, 8:48 AM EST. There's been a pending charge for $1.00 on my AMEX since then, until this morning. Order status still shows PRE, and have not received any other updates. 32GB 7+ Black.

So I have had a pending $1 charge on my AmEx all week since I purchased (around 9 a.m. CST on 9/9). Today, I checked, as I have been doing, to see if my total amount was billed. There is no pending or posted charges from Verizon on my AmEx at all now. Should I be worried about this?

My check order status still says the same as it has (expected ship date of 9/28) even though it said 9/16 during my checkout.

Btw, it's a 7+ 32GB Black.

Same here

As far as I can tell, I haven't received my trade-in box and I'm in the same boat as cflasche. The only box I've received from Verizon was the one with new case I ordered for my 7+ (black 256GB). When I got my 6s last year, the box that they asked me to send back my previous device in was the same box that they shipped new phone in, so I'm not sure that they always send a separate box out.

Anyone actually call fedex to ask about holding package?
Typically they will not hold a package. Per Verizon they have to make one delivery attempt first. I tried that several times each with no luck. You can try though.

I haven't called but I asked the FedEx driver who drops off every day at my work. He said you should be able to call and request it to be held at station once there is movement. He also said you can leave a note on the door with your signature to be left without being home. Just have to indicate where to leave it. They take the note with them.

When I track my shipment it says indirect signature required which means you can even have a neighbor sign for it.

Thieves will be out in full force tomorrow. Indirect signature is not a smart move.

So 39 pages in, just to be clear. We have no shipping confirmations on anyone who ordered an iPhone 7 Plus, correct?

No, some 7+ models have started to ship. In general it looks like the first wave of RG and MB 128GB 7+'s have started to move.

I personally received two FedEx tracking numbers for 2 RG 7+ 128GB models.

Gold doesn't seem to be moving. JB is slowly starting to update and ship.

There should be a bag and documentation inside the box with the new phone. It goes over what you should do to prepare the phone for shipment, you put it in the bag, seal it, and send the box back to them using the label provided. I believe they provided a label to stick on it as well.

It's so you don't have to go without a phone.

Today is the last day if you don't get charge by tonight or tomorrow morning you probably won't get until next week

Not true. My phone could hit the fedex system at 4am Friday and still get to me. It's happened.
Yeah, I've had a lot of overnight orders not show up in any system until the morning of delivery. For UPS and FedEx. Amazon will send a shipped email sometimes in the wee hours of the morning with the tracking number.

I've tried that weird FedEx clipboard "trick" on my iPhone, and it looks like it only works with your preorder confirmation number and not other random numbers even if they are nearly identical to the confirmation number. So maybe that means FedEx has my phone right now? Has anyone figured this out yet?

Ya I thought that was what they were gonna do I think it has something to do with how you order it and if it's in store
