Has anyone looked recently at the other carrier threads to see if they are in any better shape? Part of me is afraid to do so...
 
Haven't seen too many 32gb Black +'s on here, but i placed my order about 15 minutes after launch. Order still processing and date shows 9/28/16
 
Ordered a 128 Verizon 7 plus in jet black. Email states 10/5, still shows that when I log in My account. But if I check status it shows shipment date as 10/12
 
Small solace. The past two pre-orders I was a T-Mo customer and I would tweet at the corporate response team. They were incredibly helpful--I can't imagine Verizon has anything like that :(
I bet they do but you will probably get a canned response "we are excited about the new phone just as much as you are and are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible." Bla bla bla. Nice for them to respond but won't really tell us much.

I ordered 4 minutes after the store came up and got the 9/26-10/3 date for my Jet Black 128 Plus. Per the suggestion earlier in this thread, I chatted in and asked for faster shipping. She upgraded it for no charge, now shows 9/22. No idea how that will ultimately affect it when it ends up shipping.
 
First order iPhone 7Plus JB 128gb: confirmation email at 3:32am Eastern. Deliver by: 10/5, ship by 10/28. Rep said that the ship date was more accurate, so i ultimately cancelled that and waited on the phone for about 2 hours to do so.

After cancelling, my second order for iPhone 7Plus Black 128gb: confirmation email at 5:26am. Deliver by and ship by 9/23. Same as everyone else, no movement, no charge and still in process.
 
7 Plus 128GB, Silver, Ordered at 7:00 AM (Central) on 9/9 - 9/28 ship by date - no updates. Not really expecting one, but the site said ship by 9/16 when I started the order.
 
Finally got my order placed around 2:30 am, got confirmation email around 2:40 am. Ordered black iPhone 7plus 128gb and shipping date is like most on here...9/23. Hoping it comes earlier, but if not I guess I can't complain. Waiting one more week is much better than waiting one more month!

I don't mind the wait I just want to know the official ship date, these cookie cutters ship dates are annoying

"I want to put your worries to rest. Orders are being shipped and completed based on order dates and time. These devices are leaving as expected based on that shipping dates. I understand the forum you are in may have users that have delays as well but orders are being completed based on the first come first serve. Some devices have already shipped and other orders have a further shipment dates based on inventory. Please refer to your order to get the most up to date information. ^AR"

Ordered the 32gb Silver plus 13 minutes before launch, Still processing, and email confirmation said: Delivers by October 5th, which makes me think Verizon just had a bunch of place holder dates. Silver is one of the least popular color it seems if going by this forum, so no idea why I wouldn't get it on the 16th.

I am highly curious if any of the carriers will have any pluses the 16th. Or if the 23rd is the earliest they will have any on their hands.
 
Another data point for everyone. I ordered 2 phones on 2 separate orders using the Small Business site on 9/9 at 3:20 EDT.

7+ Matte Black 256GB
Expected delivery on 9/23 and order confirmation says 9/23

So no movement since the order was placed. I had to call CS today about international data so went ahead and asked them about my orders. He said the dates were probably accurate as they were backordered.

Honestly, he sounded totally clueless. Historically, like a lot of people on here, I've had a later ship date with Verizon and still gotten my phone on launch day. I'm a little less optimistic this year because historically this week you'll Verizon's expected ship dates for completed orders slide in a favorable direction. Meaning, if the website said Mid Oct and then you check status it might say early Oct. But this year, we've seen order statuses online for these 7+'s slide the other way. Which tells me they have a real inventory problem.

I will also note that Verizon's inventory system doesn't appear to be able to handle on the way scenarios. Looks like the system is built just to take goods in and ships them out. I think that's why they just hand out general dates in weekly increments. They really don't know until they get shipped a bunch and then they enter into the system and start processing. So this week, they're inventory just says zero. And all the CS people are just staring at a screen that says zero.
 
Just don't know how the CSRs are more in the dark than we are....
