I don't know why they wouldn't expect people would order the 256gb storage capacity - The i7 plus 256gb is $20 dollars more than the 128gb was last year and people bought that.

I held out thinking I would have my phone on launch day - now my hopes are gone. Oh well 9/28/16 - 13 more days to go.

anyone have this location code N832201 and been charged and received shipping details. Still nothing on my 128 MB email confirmation 6 minutes after site went live. I think I'm looking at 9/23 despite all this movement for that phone in that capacity from others who ordered later!!
 
Slowly losing hope I'll be one of the 9/23's that gets bumped up. That's okay, I didn't order til hours after the start of preorders, but I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised his week.

Next time I'll just set an alarm.
 
So has anyone really and truly had a CC charged and or shipping info for 7+ JB 128gb?

I'm sitting here with a 2:06am CST confirmation email, a 9/23 delivery date, and absolutely no movement.
 
Apple knew from the start that these phones would be in short supply which is why they are choosing not to release first weekend sales because "it's a reflection of supply not demand". They know sales are going to look bad because they don't have enough product for launch week.

According to http://bgr.com/2016/09/15/iphone-7-sales-plus-jet-black-sold-out/, Apple released the following statement:
"...Beginning Friday, limited quantities of iPhone 7 in silver, gold, rose gold, and black will be available for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores. During the online pre-order period, initial quantities of iPhone 7 Plus in all finishes and iPhone 7 in jet black sold out and will not be available for walk-in customers. Availability at partner locations for all finishes may vary and we recommend checking directly with them."

If they don't even have enough to supply their own stores, even just a few select stores with a few pieces of inventory then they are obviously hurting.

Ordered iPhone 7 plus Jet Black 256gb
9/28 ship date
Confirmation email 3:28am Eastern. Started trying at 2:45am and FINALLY completed my order after vzw.com and My Verizon app not updating at 3:00am to let me order until then. Believe me when I say, many unsavory words were flying in the air for that entire 45 min.

I am still processing with no charge yet on my CC.

I preordered 6s plus last year on vzw.com and it was smooth as butter and even got my order in a few minutes before 3:00am and had the phone on launch day. Pretty dissappointed in the troubles I had this year.
 
At this point I wish I would have ordered the 128 RG instead of the 128 Gold. No charge. No update- still says EDD 9/28. Order confirmation email at 2:19am CST 9/9. :(

New account preorder email confirmed at 0334 Mountain on Sep 9. Location code X473501. Caved and called sales to talk to the rudest, most unhelpful individual I've encountered in years. All he could tell me was that I was still pending and will likely stick there until the end of the month AT LEAST.

I know that some carriers show preference to existing customers first (that's fair) but in speaking to Verizon, they explained preorders were not shipped by seniority. I feel confused, disappointed, and tired from wasting so much time on a shiny slab of glass.

Time to play with other shiny slabs of glass...
 
you guys have to calm down, expect your phone to arrive based on the deliver by date given to you.

i got 9/28 on my JB 256 plus. I can wait a couple weeks, if it comes early great.

I do check my order status, but I am well aware that there are people in front of me (earlier 9/28s, and some 9/23s)

Went through VZW.com, email confirm at 321am EST. I wouldn't be surprised if i get my phone next friday. longer i have to wait is actually better. My ATT contract is up 11/13.

What does the location code indicate? Is it physical location of the phone, or is it the customer's place in line?

I ask because my location code is W110001. Does that mean I'm way further down the line than I've been thinking I am?

I remember reading\seeing a few people who got in super early with the app and ordered 256 pluses. a couple had 9/16 dates all along, have any of those gotten charges or shipping notifications? Or how about verizon users who ordered 256+ pluses from apples site? Have any of them gotten tracking or anything? (Im too lazy to look)

If I wasnt a business customer there is no way in hell I would order through verizon and not apple direct. Apple does not allow business customers to pre-order through them.

Ordered MB 256 plus @ 3:09 EST - Has said 9/23 delivery across the board for me. How can no 256 pluses ship?? That is why I still have some little bit of hope that some of us 256'ers will get tracking today or tonight. Earlier in the week I was thinking 80% chance I get my phone..right now Im thinking about 10%

I am feeling about 25% that us 256'ers will see movement today. Really hoping.
 
Same here... Was hoping at least one of my 256GBs ship by now but nothing so far..
