Still curious how apps tied to phone numbers work with a dual line phone setup.
You mean apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, etc? Those ask for your number during initial setup. You can only add one number and they will text you like they always did. Having eSIM or Dual SIM changes nothing.
I moved the Verizon SIM from physical to eSIM, and then put my T-Mobile physical SIM in the slot were Verizon had been. Can you expand on this please? Did you begin with a Verizon physical SIM, move that service to the eSIM, and then plunk In the t-mobile SIM? This is what many Verizon customers would hope to do, I believe.

If you have two phones with two numbers, what happens when you are running both on the same phone? Do chats from both numbers end up in the same interface?
How?I moved the Verizon SIM from physical to eSIM, and then put my T-Mobile physical SIM in the slot were Verizon had been.
Correct.Iphone needs to be unlocked right?
Called Verizon. Told them I wanted to move the SIM to eSIM. Gave the rep my digital SIM IMEI number. Once my number was entered into the system, I turned on WiFi, removed the physical Verizon SIM, and then scanned the QR code that Verizon emailed me.How?

Am I the only one who feels like we’re going back in time to the CDMA days of using a MEID/ESN to activate? Personally, I would have preferred a duel physical slot like the Chinese model but I guess not having to go to an actual store is beneficial to most.
“Waiting for activation. ERROR 12ABF12.”Just want to say all you in a rush to move your verizon number to ESIM, remember this when you go to get your phone next year and the heartache you will endure when you can't easily swap phones anymore. Good luck with that!
