I ordered around 3 am last year and I got shipping notification on that Saturday. So maybe we will see the same thing this year. My card has not been charged yet. I "edged up" for this year.

Most of us will probably see a change to our order status Sunday/Monday. I remember mine changed late Sunday night last year.

Hopefully they will get a head start and send them out early this year since we had the extra week between pre-orders and launch day.
I could be wrong but I feel like the last few release dates for iPhones have included 1-2 posters getting them a day early by accident.....then everyone assumes they will get them early

Mine just changed to the same. I think they are in the process of updating all their orders and the dates are obviously wrong. Maybe 9/18/2015 will be the ship date from China? Who knows.....weirdmine too:

Is there any way on the verizon website to even see the incoming device (pre-ordered 6S and supposedly preparing to ship 9/18...which was yesterday?) yet I cannot find any actual references to the incoming iPhone anywhere on their site. Just on my email when I ordered it.
Check the notifications section, which has a little bell at the top or you could always scroll down the bottom of the page and click order status..
Funny thing is I edged up and went with the 6S Plus. Most of you are receiving charges on your accounts now yet I was charged right when I placed the order on Saturday around 8am. Noticed some peoples status might've changed. Only thing different for me is (expected ship date) switched to (expected deliver date) on my order status on VZW.
