Got my fedex tracking number, 6S Plus 64GB Space Gray, order finalized at 12:02AM on the 12th.

Sitting in PA, just has to come to WV, obviously they're holding it until closer to release

I just got shipping number from Fedex for delivery at 9/25 by 4:30 PM.
Shipping from Westchester, Pa to AZ
Ordered from Verizon's website at midnight on 9/12
I am going to try to get it held at Fedex for pickup rather than waiting all day for delivery.

Ordered 3 iPhones, early upgrade, Verizon customer service. Order completed at 1:00 AM PDT, still no charge. Still showing delivery date 10/7. I'm jealous of all you wankers.

Well after typing that my order went from "processing" to "pending" on Verizon's website. There's something!

Usually once it's on the truck you won't be able to pull shipment till after the truck come back an might not be able to pick it up till the next day

At least you got that. I got screwed.

I called to find out why my preorder was still not charged when others were. They tried to manually charge it and when that didnt work they canceled my order and placed it again!

Then they tell me they will escalate the order to get it delivered by the 25th! Of course they add a 'we cannot guarantee' BS line.

Im so pissed. I ordered first and now they have my order a week later with a warm and fuzzy statement about sending it for escalation.

So people who ordered way after I did have their phones in Memphis already. Im left to wonder all weekend if they will actually get my order straight or if I will have to wait for the next round of orders to ship.

Beyond pissed and getting madder every minute!

Why wouldn't you just not be patient and wait for the charge? I ordered mine at 2:57amEST (3 minutes early) from Verizon's business site and didn't get a charge until late last night.

The supervisor I talked to said that he saw something in the order that indicated it was not charging the card even though it was the same card I gave them so they tried it manually.

He said there is some issue and the only way to fix it was to do it again.
 
10:56AM...Order Shipped!!

FedEx says its in West Chester, PA...scheduled for delivery 09/25/15 @ 3pm

mine went from processing to pending. Ship date moved from the 30th to the 25th. CC still hasn't been charged and no tracking # yet

Something similar happened to me, but it instead when i ordered it i didn't get an option to choose shipping and when i called Verizon the bone head cancelled my order and i was furious and the supervisor had to put in a new order with my work address and escalated it and i was able to retain my spot. Who knows maybe they'll come through for you too!

The thing that really sucks is that I have to wait until Monday before I can get in touch with anyone. With the phones shipping all weekend, and the limited 6+ units out, Im thinking Im going to get the 'sorry' speech when I do hear form them.

It probably would not be so bad if the orders were not shipping yet.
 
FYI - For Verizon phones ordered through Apple.com can get tracking details by reference using the phone number or the apple order number minus the last to digits.
 
I ordered my 6S+ through Apple for VZW and paid full price to keep my unlimited data. I was charged a $40 upgrade fee that I thought only applied if you were getting the subsidized pricing. Does anyone know if I should have been charged the fee?

If you ordered from Apple and it said you'd be charged the 40.00 fee, don't worry, you won't be. I got the same thing, and I've confirmed three times with Verizon that its an error on Apple's website, in fact now that mine's moved to preparing to ship it no longer shows the 40.00 fee, it shows as 0.00.

To me it sounds like you will be billed the $40.00 fee on your Verizon bill, not Apple. That's why I've put off ordering a phone. I also don't want to lose my UDP, nor do I agree with Verizon charging me for nothing since I'm paying full price for the phone.
