Verizon.com: Preorder thread

Welp...it's Thursday and my order is still pending with a 10/12 shipping date. Doesn't look like it will ship earlier like I hoped.

Will fedex and ups even move shipments on Monday since it's Columbus Day? I didn't realize that the 12th was a holiday until last night.

Not sure if they do, but I'd be willing to bet that nobody else with a 10/12 date has seen movement.

Yeah I think a good majority of us with 10/12 are just going to have to wait until 10/12 lol Hopefully the holiday does not cause any delays to our orders.
 
Ordered 9/12 11AM EST, 6s+ Space Gray 64GB.

Originally had a delivery date of 10/7. Checked it this morning and it now says:
Expected Delivery Date:
We are working hard to complete your order. Unfortunately, it will not be shipped as originally scheduled. You will receive a shipment confirmation email when your order ships, which will include a new delivery date.​

And if they get delayed... Well, we are pros at waiting!

Wow, they didn't even move it to 10/12? That's crazy smh
 
On the fence BB near me has a 64gb which is what I have now with 8gb space left and I ordered a 128gb - which is delayed to 11/2 - do I get the 64gb or wait???

Might as well wait for the 128 if you intend to transfer any of your existing content to the new phone.

I would wait. I have 128gb on my 6+, I can't imagine going back now. The space is lovely. Now just waiting on my 6s+!

Well I ended up with the 64gb but not completely by choice. The BB rep stated they had a 128gb and started to process my sale - the Esn was tied up and wouldn't activate however I had to cancel my Verizon order to start the process at BB

Well the 128gb phone never activated so at that point I got the 64gb and was told they will give me a 128gb when they get them in and ended up with a $100 BB gift card

That would sound promising if Verizon was doing 1 day shipping and not 2 day :( I'll cross my fingers and hope that it's true though. Would LOVE to have my phone delivered on Saturday.
 
Hey guys...so my ocd took over and I went through my inbox to find previous Verizon shipping and order confirmations. I learned 3 things from them...

1. Verizon uses Fedex and ships 2nd day

2. The orders (most were for iphones right after the launch date similar to my current order), had shipped a few days before delivery, but I received the shipment email the day after it shipped.

3. The reference used for fedex tracking was Location number_00Order number (xxxxxxx_00xxxxxxx).

In regards to #3, this was the reference method used for all of my orders with Verizon, no matter what I ordered and are listed on the Fedex tracking page as Shipper Reference number.

I also tried this with my current order but obviously nothing showed because...well...it didn't ship lol. But Im curious to see whether or not it will work once it does. Just thought it might be decent info... :)
 
Order status changed to order delivery date of 10/14 and the look of the site changed and now it says order number not preorder number for me. I guess next Wednesday it is.
 
They just charged my account!! Looks like atleast 1 of the phones are shipping tomorrow! :) I knew something was weird because my phone 6s+ gold was no longer showing the expected ship date. My husbands 6s+ sg is still showing 10/12. Hopefully his ships with mine.
