Verizon.com: Preorder thread

Considering there were only 12 first wave countries, with the USA being Apple's home market, you'd think they'd pump out at least enough CDMA phones to at least somewhat compete with the demand of GSM phones at least in this country with it being a 50/50 split between GSM and CDMA networks. Ordering on September 21st and ordering 2 days ago with the respective results I'm seeing means there is quite a difference in supply if we're just looking at the US.
 
Yea next year I won't go thru this I will preorder like I normally do when they start however since Verizon didn't have a yearly upgrade announcement I missed the golden ticket and came late to the party

Next year I will be on my A game
 
Ordered 6s+ (gold/128gb) on 10/1. Backordered until 10/26. Still pending.
Ordered 6s (rose gold/128gb) on 10/6. Backordered until 11/2. Tax payment came out 1 hour later. Shipped 6 hours later. Will be here Thursday. What?

Not thrilled about this since the second order was for my daughter. Mine is still pending! LOL!
Crossing my fingers that mine goes out soon.

On the T-Mobile thread, they are able to kinda get ahead of the ball by looking up their order on UPS using their phone number as a reference. That way they can catch whether their order ships well before it shows on tmobile's site. I think that Verizon uses fedex, but would our phone number also be the "reference" used?

The easiest way for me is waiting to get the charge for the tax. I use my Paypal business card for most things, and I get a notification right away. I knew it went from pending to processing because of that.

I did the same thing for the notification on my paypal card....

Same reason I didn't preorder sooner. The night it it was announced, I placed my order.

This is getting ridiculous... Even those who ordered through Apple are getting decent deliveries (obviously). Verizon is really tapping on my last nerve.

I don't have a paypal card but I do keep checking my account like a maniac. Was hoping I'd see a charge right after midnight (like those in the ATT and T-Mobile threads) but nope, nothing. -_-

So her's is 2nd day shipping, not overnight right?
 
Still have my expected delivery date listed as today...but no shipping info and my card hasn't been charged yet. Anyone else?
 
I did 6S+ 64GB in Space Gray.

After a few erroneous order entries (since I did it over the phone and they were having issues) my order went through by about 11AM EST on the first day of pre-orders.
 
Spoke with a Verizon rep...apparently my order has indeed changed to the 12th, even though my order status page doesn't reflect this change.

I called yesterday and was told expected due dates aren't firm. The phone can come well before or after. :/
 
Also remember the 12th is the "EXPECTED SHIP DATE" not the delivery date... at least in terms of what its saying so it should ship by the 12th, not necessarily deliver by.
 
Weird. Mine specifically says "ship" on the order tracker.
