It seems like most 10/07 people are getting bumped to 9/25 so if you don't get that bump then maybe you'll at least get it next week? Surely you'll get it early since you're only a week later than the 10/07 people
Not me though, mine still says the same.. =_=

Update:

Ordered 9/12 about 4am CST 6s plus 128gb sg.

Expected ship date 10/7

Card just charged and ship date changed to 9/22, but no tracking yet. From preorder site.

Woohoo! Was hoping to get it sooner! Good luck all!

Update 2:

I have a tracking number as of this morning early, but not active yet.

My expected delivery date is now 9/25, not bad. I was assuming this might happen with most of the early preorder's having theirs shipped early this week. I think Verizon/Apple had more in stock but wanted to be overcautious with the fiasco I went through with getting my 6 plus.

I wasn't expecting it Friday but will be very please if it does arrive :)

UPS. I have a Customer Center about 15 miles away from me that opens at 9 AM. Beats driving 55ish miles to the Apple Store that would allow me to put in a reservation.
Ahhh......I know UPS will hold at the hubs for customers. have done it before myself. But mine is coming FedEx and have never had a delivery held through them before. I guess I will just have to call and find out. I just don't want it delayed by trying to not have to wait around all day for the driver to deliver.

I'm with you there! Where are you at? ( see you were in AZ in 2008, not sure if you still are!) I'm in Utah. Having mine held at a hub. Hopefully they have it ready by 9:30! :D

I'm in CO and mine is in Coastesville as well. Perhaps that is the holding location that covers the West? I'm hoping that they're move tonight to begin the movement to local distribution centers.

Don't know if this applies only to me or everyone else too, but:

I just got a text from Verizon thanking me for my recent purchase (obviously my phone). It gave me a promo code to use for an iPhone trade in. For me, they're offering $100 for 4/4s, $200 for 5/5c, $300 for 5s, and up to $400 for a 6/6+.

Sadly, I sent in my 5 for a bill credit about a week and a half ago, so I lucked out and found my old 4 sitting in the drawer that I'll send for $100. It has a small chip in the top of the screen, but shhh, I didn't mention that ;) lol

So keep your eyes out for a text from Verizon regarding a possible iPhone trade in!

Is that $300 for anyone or $200 + $100 for switching? If it even said. I'm hoping to get $250-300 for my 5s on Craigslist but if I could that just for sending to Verizon then it would be easier.

Was it a pretty quick and simple process once you got there to pick up? I'm curious if it will be a pain or if it will just take a few moments.

Yeah, once I received the 6S I'll be sending in my 5c for the offer. Also have a couple 4S or something that I might try seeing if they'll also accept.

USP was awesome. I waited in line for less than 10 minutes and walked out with my iPhone last year.
Hope FedEx can be that same experience.

Anyone with an initial 10/07 delivery date get their orders bumped up? I preordered mine on the 12th just after noon and the email confirmation stated 10/07. My wife's I preordered on the 16th and she has the same delivery date as me. Mine is a 6s+ 64GB SG and her's is a 6s+ 64GB Silver.

We have not been charged yet for either one and the orders still say pending for both.

Mine was bumped up. I ordered on 9/12 in the early evening. Plus 128gb SG. Original delivery date was 10/7, I was just charged and got an email with tracking information indicating delivery on 9/25. I was in no real hurry to get the phone, but still a nice surprise.

Was yours there right at 8am?

I read about some bad experiences with the hubs online. Did they call you in line or do you tell them what address you're there for?

Anyone get ups next day air saver?? I thought ups sent 2 day?? I guess I won't see any movement on tracking until tomorrow??

Last year I called and had them hold it at the sorting hub. Its the hub where all the delivery trucks get loaded so the package was already there just waiting to get loaded onto the truck. So all they do is not load it. They just set it aside. It was a very simple process.
But I have never tried this with FedEx so I am not sure how it will go.

There's a customer care place about 10-15mins away which isn't bad (I'll get on the freeway and make it about 7mins). We have numerous UPS stores, but I'd rather pick it up at the customer care hub/center/place. I'm pretty sure that's where they load up, as all of my UPS deliveries have passed through there at one point or another.
