Just like everyone else, only a label has been printed, no ups scan done. They probably have a trailer full that will all get scanned when UPS takes it. Most likely they will go out sometime tomorrow.
What are the chances of actually getting this Friday then? It says it was Shipped yesterday 0.0
 
It's odd some of us can hold it and others can't. I don't know what the difference is.
True. I thought I had done it wrong when I saw others posting that.
I just have an option that says "Change Delivery" and then it will ask me to hit "next" and then "pickup from UPS location" is one of the choices. Very strange though...

Just curious as to timeframe: how long did it take to receive a tracking number once your card was charged?

Card was charged on this past Sunday afternoon and tracking number was provided on Monday. However, the tracking I originally got was a UPS one but then later on that day the Verizon site updated the status to a USPS tracking number.
 
I have 2 phones ordered, Rose Gold and one in Silver, both GS Plus, Both 128g with ETA of 10/7. If rose gold is delayed and silver isn't, will Verizon hold the order until both phones are available? I have a colleague that got his shipping notification a couple of hours ago, and he ordered is 128g SG Plus 2 hours after I ordered. He was bumped from 10/7 to 9/25.

I ordered two as well. When I ordered, the ETA on the Silver was 30-Sep and the ETA on the Rose gold was 7-Oct. My order status just says that the entire order will deliver by 7-Oct. I'm hoping they'll still ship the Silver one first, but I'm guessing they'll ship both together. :(

My Tracking Number for UPS has been the same for 3 days now. "Order Processed: Dready for UPS" - no locations or anything like that, but it says it'll deliver by 3:00 pm on 09/25?

Hoping that's accurate. Seems like a long way to travel in less than 2 days!
 
The phones aren't shipped via USPS and if they were would not be able to be shipped by First class as they would weigh over 13 ounces.

I was thinking the same thing. At the very least it would be Priority.

In regards to Coatesville and 9/25 delivery. It won't be a problem. We'll likely see something later today or tomorrow morning at the latest. They'll kick into high gear and jump on some jets and head to their destination. Even if it's a long way, overnighting won't be an issue. I just can't believe they aren't staging them, but shipping them ground to their destination sort facilities and then just delivering on Friday from there.

I did find it weird at first that it went USPS but then I started thinking that maybe because there's so many shipments Apple would use any carrier available to deliver.
 
Sorry to have to say this but.......I don't think this will get delivered to your residence. I will bet it goes to another shipper. I will guess you will not get it today...... Hope I'm wrong but I have had Amazon do this in the past. They use USPS to get the package to UPS to be delivered to my house.

It will show as delivered today...but you will not have the phone.
 
Been debating on posting here for a while.. but here it goes.

My boyfriend pre-ordered a 64gb rose gold 6s on sunday the 13th in the store near my apartment at around 5 pm. I had hoped to go on Saturday afternoon but we had plans to attend and could not. I'm going to be porting over from Sprint to Verizon so the Verizon rep added a dummy line to his plan and said that the porting and what not would take place after we received the phone. Even with the pre-order being opened for well over a day, we were given a ship date of the 25th.

THEN... my boyfriend loses the CC that he pre-ordered on. (because why not) So he calls Verizon that Monday and tells them. Of course they say that they would have to cancel the pre-order and re-order the phone .. which would extend the ship date into the middle of October. -_- Why they couldn't just keep the order and edit the information is baffling to me because other places do it. Anyway.. after pushing them not to cancel, the woman agreed that when they go to run the existing number, which will decline because the number isn't valid anymore, they will contact him for a new number.

Being that I trust ZERO customer service reps until they prove themselves, I find it very interesting that he hasn't received a phone call yet and no email or any correspondence regarding the phone and keep pushing him to find out what's happening. Sorry for the long post! Thoughts?
