This is my first launch...how many phones do you figure will be landing to US customers tomorrow. I honestly don't have a clue.

Just in the US? I would have to think it will may be in the hundreds of thousands. Globally? A million or two.. Don't they sell something like 5 million phones in the first week?

Anyone know if they do overnight shipping? Im in NJ and my location code confirms NJ also and I just got my order processed last night but it doesn't say when I will be receiving the phones?

Anyone know how this works?

For the 5S/5C launch in 2013, Apple sold 9 million devices over the first weekend. 2014, the 6/6 Plus sold 10 million in the first weekend.

I have an iphone 6s and an ipad mini 4 both scheduled for delivery tomorrow and both were just at Newark. Now it says my iphone 6s departed Newark at 1:00am but my ipad mini 4 is still there. I am really hoping to have them both delivered together.

I know, I know, first world problems.

I have to say, it is pretty impressive the number of flights they send out after they do their sorting at 1-10 minute intervals.

Well this is odd. My tracking says in transit, but it still hasn't been scanned. Is this a normal occurrence? (I don't typically check tracking at the ungodly hour of 2 AM but being sick means no sleep) Ah well, I saw that there's a flight to Hartford soon so I'm hoping that's my phones plane. Fingers crossed!

Update: woohoo! My phones moving! I checked PackageMapper and it says at midnight my phone got to Philly. So like I said, it's likely that It'll fly into Hartford tonight! I guess I shouldn't have questioned UPS.

My phone is currently in Philly. I just looked, and apparently 2 UPS flights are taking off from Philly and flying into Boston tonight within the next two hours. One of them must be the ones who'll carry my phone!

That's where I'm picking mine up! Their hours start at 10am according to what I'm finding online. My phone seems to be taking the same flight as yours. With the delay from PHL there's only 20 min inbetween flights now ...gah

Strange. I read on UPS that it would be available at 8:30 AM for pick up, but Yelp says they open at 10. I'm confused.

ill get my phone in exactly 12 hours. thats when my mom gets off work and can go pick it up. (if you remember, i had said i was wondering if they would allow me to pick it up even though its addressed to her, they said no, so gotta wait for her to get off work to get it. thank goodness she gets off at 3 haha)

Mine finally flew out of Newark, NJ at 9:20 last night but ended up in Indianapolis, IN. That's still 8 hours away(driving) from me in South Carolina.

No other movement all night.
