mine just checked into my local customer center. now just got to hope they dont mess up the hold request.

Mine is completed and ready for pickup. Hub doesn't open until 9 though. I'll go on lunch and hopefully avoid the lines.

I went to the 4S launch at the same place. They normally close will call at 6:30. On launch days they close at 6:30 and reopen at 7:30 just for iPhone pickups.

Omg it's happening. It's like Christmas when you stalk Santa

Same. Been awake since 430. Lol
I wonder how the line is doing at the Apple store up the street

Maybe it's better for me to go and sit there right now!

But I feel better knowing that I'm getting one instead of waiting in line and hoping I do. I can't even imagine what it's like camping out in front of a store all night. I read an article yesterday about how people were already waiting in San Francisco. They've been there since Tuesday or Wednesday. Omg

I agree. I'd rather wait for UPS :). And that's crazy!

My local news showed the lines! It's crazy! I'd much rather relax and wait for UPS (and by "wait for UPS" I mean "Pase for several hours")

I tried to post pic but won't let me. What is up with this app? Anyways just checked UPS (again) and my phone is ready for pickup! Now the long wait until lunch at 12pm. Why can't they open at 7 on launch day!!

I hope everyone that expects their phone today gets it. Enjoy!! Thanks, too!! This forum/thread is keeping me from going crazy! :)

And sit by the nearest window

I'll have to turn on the news and see. Usually they've got one or two reporters at the two stores in the area. I kind of want to drive by and flash my iPhone while they're all waiting in line still at 10am (but I know karma will come back to me and somehow ruin my day if do that)

Does yours notify you on the app if it's ready?

Yay! My baby is finally in my state! It's about to leave Boston and head to my local hub! I know that UPS doesn't deliver to me until around 3pm-4pm, but the fact that it'll be here today is fantastic. I guess I should have figured that UPS would do everything overnight for me since I'm not far from Philly.

And here is where I get to see how much UPS loves logistics. My phone arrived in Springfield, MO, which is 425 miles (6.5 hr drive) from me, at about 5am. It sits there for 45 minutes waiting for the only departing UPS flight, which is going to Wichita, 175 miles away (3 hr drive) from me. Scheduled arrival is 6:24, so then it gets on a plane to my local hub and will be out for delivery between 7-8, with actual delivery around 12-1. So hopefully down to the last 6 hours!

Yay!

Remember to say thank you to your UPS driver/Hub worker/Store Worker/Apple Store Rep/Verizon Rep/etc for getting/handing you your phone!

Happy Launch Day!
