When I went to my local UPS hub to get my watch on launch day back in April, I showed up at about 8:40a and didn't get my package until just before 10a but it was STILL better than waiting for the truck all day!

Exactly my thinking too. I hope they get their phone quick, but I'm going to wait about an hour after the hub opens before I go. I'd be too anxious just waiting around! (As if I wasn't anxious enough!)
 
Well, my phone didn't leave on the flight I assumed it would, at least the tracking didn't update. Now I am curious as to how it is getting here. Not worried, as I have never had a next day air shipment come late, but also never tracked each step of the way, so it always just showed up without me knowing the exact route.
 
I've honestly realized that I, and quite a few of us, got SO lucky with our phones. I preordered the 6s 64gb Rosegold on the 15th, so a few days after preorders opened, and I was told "deliver by 10/7" now I'm getting it on Launch Day! Huge props to Verizon (and from what I've heard, everyone selling the 6s and 6s+) for getting a huge supply of iPhone's early!
 
Still just shows that it's at the Hub and not out for delivery which is pretty weird. They're usually on the truck for delivery at like 6am around here. Every little inconsistency with these launches drives me into a paranoid panic! Ugh I need more important things to worry about

I'm standing in my hub - I'm the only one here! I saw a fleet of trucks leaving on my way in - Bon voyage, iPhone army! I'll have mine in hand in like 3 minutes or less!!

Such a good feeling! Just a couple hours until I go by!
