Phone was delivered at 9:16 AM EST by FedEx! I thought I wasn't going to be home when it was delivered, but I was and actually completely missed the delivery still! However, they left it right for me!

I went back inside quick to grab something and I had the garage door open and when I went back out to get in the car, the package was laying right there on the garage door steps! The tracking says they have signature release on file.

Can't wait to get home and set it up!

Three people at my company have phones on order. We just had a delivery and two phones (6s) came in. Neither were mine (6s+). It was FedEx, and mine is coming UPS. Didn't realize the others were separate.

Does anyone know how reliable FedEx is about leaving the "we missed you" slips?

A truck showed up and parked on the corner of my street about one door down from me. I came out and they were in the back of the truck. Obviously assumed it was for me but she just got in and drove off before I could do anything. Technically was in front of the apartment entrance next to mine but it seems unlikely that two trucks would come to the same building. Seems like it would be policy to leave a slip.

Also, if it was my phone, do the updates usually appear quickly saying there was a delivery attempt? Going to be pretty pissed if she didn't even try.

I was getting so worried that my phones wouldn't be ready for pickup because I just requested Hold For Pickup last night. Luckily, within the last 5 mins I got the confirmation that they are at the facility waiting for me!!

I just wished they opened before 10AM.

I got an email from UPS around 9am CST that the box is ready for pickup at the local customer care facility. I will go pick it up this afternoon/night! Probably around 4pm!

Meanwhile, my 6s plus 128gb space grey ordered on 9/16 moved from Expected Delivery Date 10/14 to EDD 10/12 this morning. Whoop-de-freakin-doo.

Mine (ordered the morning of 9/12) just updated from 10/07 to 10/05. It's the only movement I've seen since I ordered...

UPDATE:

My 6S+ was shipped last night with a delivery of 9/29 via FedEX. That's fine but they aren't allowing me to hold for pick up or schedule delivery times via the FedEx app. If I contact FedEx could they hold the package for delivery and allow me to pick it up on the 29th?

Well minds was delivered and signed for... In all these years I never changed my VZW billing address from my Parent's address. I guess it came in handy today as my mom was at home and signed for it for me. I will go out there and get it at lunch. Woohoo lol.

I officially HATE FedEx. I have had tons of packages delivered to my house by FedEx. I get a call this morning at 8:30 am saying they need to confirm my address. I confirm they say I am good to go. Get a all at 9:30 asking for "directions to my house" and that the delivery guy already left so it will be delivered Monday. They agreed to hold it for me but now I have to go 45 minutes away to pick it up. Not a happy camper and I have to wait for UPS to get here so I can get my husbands phone. Sigh. Ok end rant.

Thanks! Believe it or not I wasn't particularly happy to find out it was shipping earlier than expected yesterday. Been busy and hadn't yet had time to prepare. I also was hoping to have the updated 6S+ skins from Best Skins Ever when the phone arrived, but they haven't yet modified their design. Fortunately I do have a set made for the 6+, and my case has been delivered. Hopefully the skins will fit ok. Coming from a space gray 6 (16gb), so excited to have the larger phone with all the new stuff in a different color.

Wow that's ridiculous. Do you live in a very rural area? Maybe they had a bunch of new drivers this time around because of all of the deliveries they have to make today and this guy was unfamiliar with your area. But still, that's extremely frustrating. Sorry bud.
