Verizon.com: Preorder thread

Still waiting on my fedex delivery too, got one package from a different fedex truck already, sure got my hopes up that I would have it before work! Now I have to get through an 8 hour day before I can have it :(
 
Man, while I'm happy that people in AZ and other locations are getting their phones, it's hard to be two hours ahead of them and absolutely no sign of the phones yet.
 
Went to the apple store to pick up my reserved copy and it was a ZOO! There was a long line and i said screw it not worth it ill just wait for my Verizon order. I did however pick up the leather case :D

No we are in city limits. I think they honestly had issues with processing so many packages for overnight delivery today when it did not show on GPS they just tossed it to the side. Oh well at least I will still get it today (hopefully)
 
Of course, my UPS driver is running late today. Was hoping to have it 2 hours ago and still no sign of it. Come on already, I need the 3D touchy goodness!

waiting on my FedEx delivery as well. They usually drop off packages around noon so fingers crossed it'll be here soon. Im also headed to Vegas right after I get it and set it up so I'm doubly anxious!
 
Waiting on mine to get to the USPS access point near my home. I'll pick it up on the way home from work. Quite honestly, not even sure why I'm at work. Very unproductive to say the least. Friday, and a new iPhone....yikes.
 
Well it's past 3. Surprise, surprise, UPS is late. Oh well. I'm sure it takes them extra time having to get someone to sign or picking up release form and putting the phone where the person requested. I just hope he doesn't come too late. :confused:
 
So this is probably a very dumb question but I'm having issues with my activation. I went through all the intro set up and decided to set it up as a new phone so that I could clean all my apps and settings.

I have Verizon at the top and it says 'Laura's iPhone in the settings'. My contacts are also present. But my text messages are still going to the old phone. Any ideas?
 
Confirmed that my package was delivered via FedEx to the WRONG address. Went to a business park instead. They have been good at getting back to me, calling three times within 45 minutes of my initial call. Checking with the driver to retrace his/her steps. I best get it today...

I think it's pretty funny that Verizon wouldn't allow FedEx to hold the phones at the facility, but they didn't require signature for delivery? Seems silly to me. Ah well, phone was successfully delivered at 10am. Enjoy your phones y'all!
