I ordered through apple but now am thinking of doing it through Verizon, I normally keep one old phone in case I break my current one. I have an iPhone 8. It says I get like the $440 trade in, is this right? that seems like a good deal. I mean with that deal I could trade it in then get the apple + coverage and it would be cheaper than just straight out buying the phone from apple. I assume you have to keep it 2 years to get the full amount of credits back.

was able to get my iphone 12 pro 256gb pacific blue at 7:58am this morning! I was surprised that it let us order a few minutes early, which is why I went with verizon instead of apple. mine said it will deliver by 10/23, so i’m really excited! I hope you guys got what you wanted, i’ll definetly be posting here and looking for updates on shipping! 
Work had been busy for the last 2 days, but I’m glad to see that so many people had success ordering their iPhone 12/12 Pro. Can’t wait to see pics and hopefully someone upload a unboxing video. Now just 20 more days and I can preorder my 12 Pro Max. Now to decide if my paying outright with Verizon or Apple and which color between Pacific Blue and Gold? Decisions decisions.
Sorry - iPhone 8 is UP TO $140 trade-in toward a new iPhone 12 with Verizon.
My company offered the 12 Pro 128 for $450 via Verizon. Sure why not. My X works fine, but it’s time. I wanted to avoid the non-Qualcomm modems, so here I am. It’ll be here at the end of October.
Anyone getting “device not eligible for trade in” message when checking out? I do have a small balance of $100 on my XS Max and it says I will receive any promos at check out if I pay in full. Does it apply the promo at the very end of the process or after?

I wouldn't be surprised if you get it on the 23rd. What did your confirmation email say? I've seen many instances where someone was quoted a week past launch day and actually got it on launch day.
I thought about the Pro Max... but I just couldn't do it (ended up going with the Pro); I don't think the damn thing would fit in my pocket, lol
Did any one get an email saying that their order is on hold due to the payment ? I chose Apple Pay to check out and the charge is showing on my cc and now it’s saying my order is on hold for some reason. When I go to update payment information it errors out and won’t let me go to the next screen .

Anyone have a delivery date on their Verizon order detail page? Mine says it will be updated soon.🤷♂️
We called Verizon yesterday evening to find out about the $303 vs $440 credit discrepancy. Sure enough, Mr Star would have to change is plan. So he made the change to the Play More plan which ended up being cheaper than his previous plan. The Verizon rep worked his magic and the $440 credit was applied. Great! No changes to delivery date. All is well.
My blue 256gb shows 10/23. My wifes Gold 256 shows 10/30 estimated delivery date. Our 2 cases show pending.
I’d recommend calling Verizon, they can help getting your cards charged. a couple of years ago my card got declined as transaction got marked as suspicious. I called VZ and they tried to charge two more cards, and two more different banks also marked transaction as suspicious. I had to confirm the transaction with one of the bank and the second attempt went through after that,VZ rep was in the call the whole time.
With an exception of such billing issues,, preorder via Verizon was great

UW 5G isn't, yes. Take what the carriers say with a large grain of salt but somehow I think the coverage percentage of non-UW 5G is greater than 20%.
I ordered the X from them on preorder day. I remember being so annoyed because my phone had to sit at my local facility until the release date, so I think they are instructed that they can't go out to the customers until the release date.
I finally figured out somehow my account was converted to the stay connected plan due to COVID and I had to pay the balance of that agreement in order for my account to return to a normal status. I didn't even know I was on a different type of plan I did notice my bill was cheaper monthly I guess this explains it. Hopefully this will fix the issue. The rep had to get it approved by her manager by order is still showing as pending.
verizon just emailed me saying that there was a problem with my payment method. I pod with Apple Pay on my Apple Card. It went through on my end. I’ve no idea what’s going on. Waiting on the phone now.
