I’m going with the Pro Max. I love that it’s larger than the 6.5 XS Max and 11 Pro Max. I take a lot of photos and videos of my kids and I’m always getting compliments on the photos. If you can justify paying extra for the Pro Max, I say go for it.

Isn’t the only difference in the Pro and Pro Max the size, battery and optical zoom? I was set on the pro max but I think I’m going with the Pro.

I have to watch the keynote over but it seems like that’s the only difference between the Pro and Pro Max.

Trying to figure out trade in. Why do I see $27.45 on my end and $22.87? Confusing...

So what makes sense for an iPhone X 256GB if I want a 256 iPhone 12 Pro Max. Should I trade of sell on third party?

This has me confused. You probably would get more from a third party.

Mine show the same thing if I were to trade in my XS Max. If I were pay outright I would get up to $370 from Apple for my XS Max and end up paying $829 for the 12 Pro Max 256GB. I don’t think I’m going to trade in my XS Max. I’m going to keep it as a backup phone.

I chose the Verizon Upgrade Program to see what they offered and this is what the fine print said with a trade in of my XS Max.

Humm, I tried calling verizon this afternoon but they told me they don't have all the details and to call tomorrow.

They’re probably still trying to iron out all the details. I’m paying $17 monthly for the insurance on my SE2020, which I doubt would carry over to the 12 Pro Max so I’m going to buy AppleCare+ before my 60 days is up so that I don’t have to physically go into a Apple store to add it.

It's my favorite time of the year!! Glad to be back with y'all! I'm trying to decide between the Pro or Pro Max. Seems like the biggest difference between the two is slightly more abilities with the telephoto lens on the Pro Max... maybe larger sensors on the pro?

It’s not like last year? 3AM? It’s 8AM EST?
Last year was the first time they did it at 8am EST

I could have sworn it was not 8AM or I can’t remember LOL

I missed out on last year’s pre-order but am not passing it up this year! I can’t wait to test out my 12 Pro Max on Verizon. I gave up on T-Mobile 2 months ago after being with them for 10 years.

Here’s a pro tip

Order your phone from Verizon after you are sure you like your new phone - trade your old device in by going into the Verizon retail store. This way the amount is applied to your account and you have a receipt. Do not send you trade in thru the mail unless you are early upgrading.
Agreed, never upgrade thru the mail...with a carrier.

interested to upgrading/trading in my 8 plus on my existing line to a 12. I'm not in a rush to pre-order so would it be better to wait a couple of months to see what promotions Verizon releases? what kind of promos does Verizon usually bring out a couple of months after release? thanks!

just to verify, as there's no clear mentioning of it, we can't use our VerizonUp device dollars on Apple's website when ordering, correct?
