I ordered my Pro on 10/17 and got it on launch day. I was wondering about replacing it with the mini...am I out of the 14 day window?

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Would the best bet being going to a Verizon store on Friday and returning the Pro and pre-ordering the Mini at the same time?
 
Best channel opinion for VZ offer - is it better to order thru VZ to get the trade in deal or Apple? I’m going with the 12 pro max and trading in my sons iPhone 8.

By going thru Verizon.com I was able to get $550 for a trade-in on an X at -$22.92/month.
 
My 12 Pro is estimated to deliver on the 4th. I haven’t gotten shipping notification yet so I chatted with a VZW rep. They said I’ll get the tracking number, it’ll ship, and deliver all in the same day.
Is this really how it works? I don’t see how that’s possible.

Wow talking to verizon is probably the most depressing thing in the world. The representative really did not like her job.

Either way no update on the order. She would only say its processing and there is no tracking number. Nothing about a potential delay in shipping or anything.
At iPhone time they are probably pumped nonstop where they barely end the call and get another. And it's probably the same three or so things over and over and over and over....

No excuse for rude service though, she/he applied to work for one of the largest US wireless companies and is surprised iPhone is popular? Give me a break. I've had same issue with call centers but just hang up and call back sometimes service can be literally night and day difference.

(Yes, I work in the service industry and do the same thing 1,000+ times a day.... it's not easy but it was my choice to work)
 
Anyone with experience on upgrading two phones during a pre-order? Ended up returning my Pro and going to get a Pro Max. Guess I liked the bigger sized after all.

Need to order one for me and my mom. Might go through Apple for me and then Verizon for my mom.
 
Whats the latest on shipping for the Pro from Verzion? I ordered a PB 256 Pro from Verizon business on 10/29 and they told me it wont ship until 11/18. A quick inventory check through best Buy for example shows delivery by Wednesday to mu house. That shows me that the pros are available.

Are we really 16 days out or is that just where Apple is at?

My two Pros state shipment on 11/4, not arrival on 11/4.
 
Did anyone use the "Get Read" option for preorder of the 12 or 12 Pro? If so, how did it work out?
It works great unless you want to purchase AppleCare+ at the same time.
Yes, it shows up as an option under “View all device protection options” but for the first few hours of the pre-order it wouldn't get added to the cart, apparently it's "out of stock". I want to purchase AppleCare with my iPhone. So, this situation could negatively effect my delivery date. Thankfully, I ordered the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro with AppleCare+ on 10/16 and they were both delivered on 10/23. I might not be so lucky when I order the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max on 11/6.
 
Shipping/delivered on 11/4 have shipped.

I say shipping/delivered because Verizon confuses the situation by stating one or the other depending where you look. But usually means delivering on that date.
 
I know this is the preorder thread, but I have to asked folks that's gotten their phones are any of you having service issues with these phones? I'm reading way to many reports of dropped service with these phones and making me not wonting to pre-order the Pro Max for hubby & I.
I use my phone daily for work, and no dropped service for me.

And just for reference I live in Central Texas in a medium sized town.

Didn't have any reason to. Did the trade-in, sent the phone back with the pre-paid label the day after I received the new phone, today I got an email that the phone checked out and I was receiving the credit. All very civilized.

Just 3 more days and it’s Pro Max/Mini preorder day. Tomorrow I’m going to make sure all of my devices are ready, credit card is saved, shipping address is correct, and laptop is charged up and ready.
