Question - So I switched from Tmobile to Verizon last weekend. I brought my fiancé over with me, and my parents who are already Verizon customers - I put them all under me in one 4 line family plan. Now, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max which I got through the apple upgrade program. I went to try and upgrade yesterday and I get an error through Apple's app on my iPhone saying "This line is not authorized to activate through Apple Online Store" - "For consumer accounts, the account owner can authorize an account manager for this line" - I am the account owner and this makes zero sense. I called VZW and they had no clue and blamed Apple, I spoke to Apple and rightly said this is a VZW thing and maybe my account is too new.

Any suggestions?

I must say, I am already regretting switching from Tmobile. Tmobile at least for me was super easy, pick your plan, one fee all in every month and no surprises. Plus the international travel benefits were great. I am hoping I do not regret this move, and then ultimately end up back with Tmobile. I switched because my parents live in upstate NY and Tmobile is not great there and when I go see them I barely have strong service.

Your account might be too new. I had the same issue when I switched over from T-Mobile in August. They said I had to wait 7 days due to a new account to make sure my account wasn’t fraudulently opened. I couldn’t even port my number over without talking to a nice rep who made the transition easy even before the 7 days were up. I only switched because I needed better service in my area.

Have you reached out to Verizon to see what they say? That just don’t seem right that yours have not shipped yet.
Yeah I've reached out a few times, this is what they said today:
Upon checking here, the tracking number is not yet updated on our end. We have requested a status update of your order and this might reflect online within 24 hours. We are confident that the estimated date to deliver will be on Oct 30.
 
My wife's gold pro 256gb is also still pending. They might ship it overnight like they did with my order last week. Only time will tell.

That’s crazy that that is what they told you. I hope you get a status update ASAP.

Well that’s better than the response I got! I ordered two phones on Oct. 16 - 12Pro Graphite 256gb and 12Pro Gold 256gb. My husband’s (the graphite one) shipped the 23rd and delivered yesterday. Mine still doesn’t even show shipped yet so I contacted Verizon just a few minutes ago and they told me that it’s not in stock and it’ll ship Nov. 18th.....

What was the date they initially gave you?
 
I wonder if they quoted you the date if you ordered today. When I went through the process again today to see if there were some for store pick up, it showed the delivery date as 11/18.
I don’t know... I specifically asked why mine hadn’t shipped yet... They responded with it being out of stock and being delivered on Nov. 18th... Naturally I responded with “WHAAAAAAT! But I preordered both on the first day!” And they just repeated themselves saying “I understand you preordered it but it’s not in stock and will be delivered Nov. 18th...”
 
Ordered 2ea 12 Pro's on the 16th, 1ea Blue 256 and 1ea Gold 128.
Status has shown "Processing" and delivery projection 10/30.
As of this morning, status shows processing but delivery is blank.
Doesn't look good to me.

Phone is out for delivery today! Hopefully my wife (who is working from home) will be able to sign for it and I'll have a new toy to play with tonight.

Wow talking to verizon is probably the most depressing thing in the world. The representative really did not like her job.

Either way no update on the order. She would only say its processing and there is no tracking number. Nothing about a potential delay in shipping or anything.

I thought about contacting them again today... But maybe now I won't... I'll just end up being more disappointed... What I don't understand the most though is that other people that ordered the same phone days after me have already received theirs... 😒

Maybe cancel and order for pickup in store? Others have been able to do this.

Yeah my Gold Pro 256 is holding up my Blue Pro 512, since they want to ship both at the same time.
 
They pull the projection shortly before blowing through it to avoid the hit on their metrics?
 
I called since my accessory order had issues. They could not use paypal since it wont ship till 11/14

Oh really? Because we ordered my Gold Pro 256 and my husband's Graphite Pro 256 together, and his arrived already on 10/27...
