While out getting ice cream in downtown San Diego I happen to see I had 5GUWB. Took a speed test and got some great results. What a fun outing with a mask of course!

Too bad I don’t live anywhere near this area to take advantage of it regularly

I know right? Weird thing is I was sitting in the car in the back seat. I couldn’t find the UWB module so I don’t think I was in direct sight. “5G just got real” lol
 
Thank you. Shipping label on mine shows 12NOV20, when I was tracking it was shipped on 7 the November. I only got the trade in kit and UPS label no receipts.
FWIW, I received an empty box with a pouch for trade in, and my Max came in a separate delivery. This was the case for my wife's 12 Pro as well (although we have only received the return box / pouch, not the actual phone yet).
 
Trade-in kit was in the box with iPhone for me. Same as last year.

Really, did you get a separate tracking ID for the delivery of the phone? When I checked my orders on Verizon it shows " Your Order xxxxxx with iPhone 12 Pro Max Gold 128GB has been delivered on 13th November. I only received an empty box with a return pouch.

What does the pre-order status page say? (if your "your order is complete" email has an option to track your order you can use that or when you're logged out, go to the Order Status page and manually put in your pre-order information don't login)

I submitted my trade-in with the pre-order. My pre-order status page has the iPhone Pro Max and the iPhone 11 Pro Max displayed together in a single shipment. Which is still "processing".

If you submitted your trade-in and order together call Verizon, tell them you received the trade in kit and haven't received the iPhone yet. and provide your order number and trade in submission ID it should be at the bottom of the "your order is complete" email.

I'm curious. Did the package require a signature and what was the weight of said package?

When I ordered my iPhone X I setup a trade-in for the iPhone 7 Plus and for whatever reason I never got a trade in kit, trade in confirmation or submission ID.

I called upon delivery of the iPhone to ask about trade in and they said they didn't have any record of it and the trade-in valuation subsequently went down $50. I got the $50 added as a credit later because in my order confirmation email it stated "instant credit applied to retail price:".

They sent the trade in kit via UPS.

Their systems are a mess!

Weight says 2LB. Also on the label ship date is showing as 12NOV20, I am bit skeptical about that since it was shipped on 7th November from the warehouse and why the ship date on the label shoewing 12NOV20.

I did not receive ANY tracking info from Verizon for the actual phone, it just showed up at my house on Friday. My wife's phone is still waiting to ship (iPhone 12 Pro, not Max, which is back ordered currently). So when I logged into my Verizon account it showed both phones with a shipping date sometime in December. Then my phone just magically showed up, and only afterwards the Verizon site listed it as delivered (and still showed my wife's phone as pending). The boxes for returns also came with zero shipping info from Verizon, and they arrived a few days before the actual phone.

Planning to go to Apple store today to check the color - If I don't like the color I ordered from Verizon can I go to Verizon store and change the device? Would they charge if I opened the box Vs unopened box?

You may return or exchange wireless devices and accessories within 14 days of purchase. A restocking fee of $50 applies to any return or exchange of a wireless device (excluding Hawaii).*

*Exceptions to the restocking fee charge may exist. For exceptions, the restocking fee is automatically waived during the return or exchange or the fee isn't applied when our warehouse receives the returned device. Exceptions may include:
  • Defective on arrival devices if the exchange device is out of stock.
  • Shipped devices returned in an unopened FedEx Box or the customer refused delivery.
  • Devices bought in a Verizon retail location (does not include authorized retailers) that are returned within the 14-day return period when the seal sticker is intact with no signs of tampering or the device is in the original shrink wrap.

I have a quick question. Has anyone restored from a back up when they set up their new iPhone 12's and when you go to safari and your favorites page all the website icons are greyed out and not colored in? I just spoke with an Apple support rep and he has the 12 and says his are greyed out too. I am wondering now if this is a software bug. Anyone else having this issue?

No. However, I did notice when I transferred all my information initially non of my Safari tabs were available on the new iPhone.

Update: Rory and I now both have an unlocked iPhone 12 Pro Max.
