Just sell the phone on your own, otherwise you’ll have to calculate the cost of the trade-in against your current plan and the new unlimited plans, then after the training is over you have to see if it’s worth it to pay the extra price, if I were you I would just sell your phone locally on your own and get the best value for cash. I have a 12 promax with the Verizon unlimited plan their offer me $1000, but that means I’m locked in to the phone for two years, you can’t pay it off early or anything. I’m still on the phone on my own and hoping to get around 850Any tips on what might be the best way to upgrade my phone and not increase the cost of my plan? I currently have the older "The New Verizon Plan (Medium)", and my bill is about $65 per month ($50 plan + $20 line + employee discounts). If I want to upgrade with the $800 trade-in for my XS, I will also have to upgrade my plan to one of the Unlimited plans and pay at least an extra $20 monthly. I'd prefer not to do that, especially when I don't really care to have 5G. Sticking with 4G is good enough for me.
Is my only option to buy the phone at full cost and swap the SIM card? I'm fine with that, but wish I could at least get a decent trade-in value without having to upgrade my plan. Should I wait until Black Friday deals?
