I got my order in at 5:04 am and it says the same thing right now, just wait until it ships you should be fine.

Well I’m not going to tell you anything you already don’t know, but I always go through apple directly and get the unlocked version. Everything is tracked better through the apple store app. I have Verizon as well but wouldn’t use their app to order. They’re an unnecessary middle man. And now you find yourself delayed with the order info. Should be lesson learned. 😝

Can’t be a lesson learned if apple wasn’t an option, this year. Problem with are account that made me use Verizon’s app.

I preordered earlier today (Saturday around 1pm) and I got a 10/1 ship date. Ugh. I was holding off on preorder because I wanted to at least see some hands on videos of the blue color. Couldn’t wait any longer in fear of potential inventory issues so I pulled the trigger today. Bestbuy shows I can get it in Verizon for pick up 9/24 but I wanted to use my Verizon device credits.

Just noticed on their website all variants are pushed to 10/1. Anybody know if Verizon just likes to place a conservative placeholder date?
 
Placed 3 separate orders through Verizon right when preorders started. 2 SB Pro 256 and 1 Graphite Pro 256. Status says shipped and have tracking for the graphite (though it’s not in UPS system yet.) The other two status say will update soon. Can’t wait for Friday. The two blues are upgrading for the XR and I am updating from 11 Pro.

I did 30 month. I figure if I want to upgrade next year I'll just pay the 3 extra payments ($150 ish) to upgrade early. My bill only went up by a few bucks and I went from a 256gb 12 pro to a 1tb max. I paid off the 13 payments on the 12pro since I am giving that to my mom and really didn't want 2 device payments on my bill and I also didn't know if Verizon is still using SIM cards or e-SIM and didn't want to spend hours in activation hell to swap the SIMs on the 2 phones.

I also thought about trading in my moms old iPhone 8 Plus (or my now paid for 12pro) since they are offering quite a bit extra, but they make you switch to the damn unlimited plan which costs more than what I'm paying. When I priced it out Verizon showed that my bill was only going to go up by a few bucks and I almost went with it until I realized that they sneakily didn't include the device payment so my bill would have increased by $50.

So, I was already on a shared unlimited plan and they changed my account to two individual (more expensive) ones, without mentioning it. So I've got to go back and talk to them. I don't even see the original plan out there anymore, and I had just switched to it a few months ago.

Those of you who are showing a shipped status, will it arrive prior to the 24th? Mine still say preparing.

Mine says its preparing too..
Iphones can be bought in stores friday Sep 24th. In our case since we preordered it 5am the 17th we be getting it the 24th. Not unless you got the later dates. at least some of the 1TB are.
 
Sierra Blue 256g PM ordered as soon as the Verizon website went live. Got my shipping info today! Most years I don’t get shipping info till Wednesday afternoon. Can’t wait for Friday! Going to be one long work week!

But if you go in Verizon and look at phones, they all have options between 24 & 30. Hopefully they keep the 24 month option, especially with talk about the promo only allowing 30 months for pro models.

Anyone have any insight on this? It seems like if you are on early upgrade/upgrade yearly it makes more sense to have the 24 month option…

Agree I don't understand the dropping of the 24. Even AT&T has done this for a while. 30 and 36 as other choices are fine, but keep a 24 for people who upgrade yearly.

I always have issues ordering through VZW, so now I order through Apple and finance through VZW. I like it better picking up in an Apple Store anyhow.
