For anyone who wants their phone sooner with a late September/October delay, I Pre Ordered last Friday and received no shipping last night or when I woke up this morning. I just went to the store, they canceled the order, and just gave me one on the spot. So check your local stores if you don't want to wait and you want it today

Mine come with a real sim card
Thanks. This will be my first time upgrading phones with Verizon so I am not sure how the activation works. When you power on the new iPhone, it automatically activates, and your old iPhone is automatically deactivated?

It sucks that Verizon won't let us hold it at the UPS hub. I have done it on T-Mobile every year. I usually get mine as soon as the UPC Customer Center opens.

Phones arrived from UPS. Waiting on FedEx. Trade in packs came within these boxes.

supposedly works like that, but mine is not. contacting Verizon see if they can fix it

My baby is finally here!!

My phone left Indianapolis at 9:44am today, then arrived here in Portland at 10:50am - pretty quick! Current 12pm status says at local sorting facility so hopefully it gets put on a truck and delivered today!

Maybe a stupid question, but have you turned off Find My iPhone on your old phone? Not sure if it's only an issue for trade-in phones, but that screws with my activation every year because I forget to.
Tried that, not work for me. Thank you for the advice

On the same shipment as you! 🤞🏻It goes out for delivery soon

Every year my iPhone won’t activate and I always give up and take the old sim and put it in the new phone. I don’t know why this is so complicated for Verizon to figure out how to make this work.

Unbelievable!

I called in everyday this week for various reasons and was, in one way or another, told we fixed it. You’ll definitely have the device in hand on Friday as scheduled.

When I called in on Wednesday after no change in status whatsoever I talked to someone and they along with someone else in a different department were able to see that the issue was not limited to my order and notified “Core” or is it COR?, Credit Order and Review.

Once again, insisting the order would be delivered today.

On Thursday, I repeatedly received calls from Verizon. Unfortunately, I missed them every time. I subsequently called Customer Support to ‘return the call’ but nobody could explain why I was receiving the calls and told me my order would be here today.

No shipment was sent out by 8 AM PST.

I called Verizon, determined to get the situation resolved. The first representative I talked to after I authenticated and explained the situation put me on hold while she contacted a different department. She briefly returned to inform me she was now being transferred to another department.

35 minutes later, she came back and said, “The order has now been cancelled. Any further questions or concerns today?” Then hung up on me.

I called back immediately and requested to be escalated. I was transferred to someone else who then transferred me to “management”.

I explained the entire situation to the representative, and she profusely apologized and, after looking at all the notes and confirming things with a few other people, started the process of ordering an iPhone.

We quickly hit a problem. We could not submit a new order because, for whatever reason, the previous now cancelled order was still “pending” in the system.

After speaking with COR, she submitted a ticket to the internal technical team and said it would be at least an hour before she would receive a reply and said she would call me back.

Upon calling me back, she was able to successfully resubmit my order. Unfortunately, immediately upon the receipt of the “your order is complete.” email the website once again said “Your order is on hold until you take action.” requesting I accept Terms and Conditions.

Terms and conditions are not required when you purchase a device at full retail price.

The representative investigated and was told via COR that it's a known issue and it is only a customer facing “visual issue”. The order itself is okay.

If it’s just a visual issue, why didn’t my pre-order get shipped?

My iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB in Graphite is now not expected to ship until October 8.

Well I got screwed by the address issues with the R. Verizon rep promised me all was good in the system but all tracking info had dropped my apartment number. My package was out for delivery today and tracking just updated that there’s a problem with my address and check back tomorrow for updated info. Can’t even update it through the UPS website because Verizon has everything locked down. Ugh. Who knows if this phone is coming or getting sent back to Verizon. So irritated, how can they screw up an address.

Stupid Verizon system messed up my address.
Come on you know my billing/shipping address for years, why are you going to trimmed the address on my order arbitrarily?
Even the address in the confirmation email is different with the one on the order page, and both of them are incorrect..... If only the non-essential part are trimmed maybe ok but why are you trimming the APT number???????????????????
Luckily the address is changed to a non-existing APT, otherwise I guess I will be responsible for the missing phone :(

Verizon should pay for some better software engineers. Each time I place an order with Verizon I have different types of issue. Probably won't shop with Verizon again. If Apple.com has 24 months terms contract I would have ordered with apple directly

Hey man you are not alone!!! I have exactly the same issue!! I chatted with their online rep and he said that he submitted a request to change the shipping address ---- not sure it will work or not.

If there are some further issue I think I'll cancel the order and go with Apple directly although they only have 30mo contract.
