Well I got screwed by the address issues with the R. Verizon rep promised me all was good in the system but all tracking info had dropped my apartment number. My package was out for delivery today and tracking just updated that there’s a problem with my address and check back tomorrow for updated info. Can’t even update it through the UPS website because Verizon has everything locked down. Ugh. Who knows if this phone is coming or getting sent back to Verizon. So irritated, how can they screw up an address.
bro guess what.... I suddenly received the delivery like literally 1min after I posted the above reply... I check the stickers on the package and there is no APT number at all. I am not sure whether it is Verizon or my leasing office that is doing the right job.

Hey man you are not alone!!! I have exactly the same issue!! I chatted with their online rep and he said that he submitted a request to change the shipping address ---- not sure it will work or not.

If there are some further issue I think I'll cancel the order and go with Apple directly although they only have 30mo contract.
I’m on with them now. I’ve also been with them forever and never had a problem. Not sure why they cutoff part of my address. They had to know it was happening because it looks like other people had the same issue. Grrrr. Good luck to you!! We’ll see what they say. I may end up canceling as well and head to apple.

Awesome! Maybe mine will still make it today! Tracking doesn’t look good though. 🤞The Verizon rep is updating the address with UPS so I have a feeling it’ll be delayed till Monday. Not sure if they deliver on Saturday

Come on man... hurry up!

Don't hold your breathe on them having actually changed your address. I did that too, and it stayed the same.

Mine is still out for delivery. I can walk to the distribution hub from my house, I've never had a UPS delivery take this long because of that, but it appears as though I'm on the end of the route this time...or they don't know where to deliver it to. Luckily while my address ends with Drive East, there is no other version of my address that exists anywhere else in my town without the cardinal direction or another variation of it. The empty box for my trade in found me from them, however my name was spelled right on it. When I called Verizon to have them update it, the only thing that changed was my last name became badly misspelled.

Between the combo of the misspelled name, wrong address, and the restrictions Verizon put on the package I can't follow the truck to know where it is. I'm flying blind other than knowing it is out for delivery and is much later than what I usually get from UPS.

Does the new iPhone come with a SIM card or eSIM only? Do you need to insert the old SIM from your old iPhone into the new iPhone?
Mine did not come with a physical SIM, and was activated via eSIM in the Apple Store.

Normally you could just put your old SIM into the new phone and it would work immediately. However, since they’re 5G now, you’d need a 5G SIM card (such as from the iPhone 12 last year). If you don’t have one, you could get one from Verizon or just activate using the eSIM.

Yeah I gave up hope. The email I got from Verizon said they’ll do their best to make the change but they can’t guarantee they’ll be able to do it due to timing limitations. Like what the heck does that mean. I think this phone is a goner. I may go into a store and see if they can help.

Good luck!! Hopefully you get yours today!

Not sure if they deliver on Saturday
I spoke with UPS since mine is delayed due to a sorting error. They claimed that normally they would not deliver this service level on Saturdays but are going to, though can't guarantee it for all. They will try to do as many as possible tomorrow is what they claim. We shall see.

Verizon grunts are clueless. “Ship date” to them = “delivery date” to us. Relax and be ready for your shipment to arrive tomorrow.
Just spoke with Verizon and they are telling me that my order is delayed for unknown reasons. The representative said it will hopefully ship soon.

That would be awesome! I'll keep an eye on the tracking number. Thanks for the info!

Interesting. Did you order through verizon.com? In my shipping notice email, it says a SIM card was shipped to me with the phone so I think a physical SIM (pSIM) will be included. I read elsewhere that iPhones ordered from Apple do not include pSIM.

My daughter hung out at home today to receive my phone in AZ. But I am in VA till Sunday. At least I know it’s at home waiting.

Ok my 13 Pro Max Blue arrived I really can't tell the weight difference and after reading several reviews I was expecting the camera bulge to be huge IMO it's not. Very happy.

Ordered the Graphite Pro Max 1TB at the minute the preorders opened on the 17th. Was still given a delivery date of 1 October. My status changed to “Delivery date will be updated soon” last night but nothing further since then. I could not have possibly ordered it any sooner and still the date was 1 October. Has anyone actually received a 1TB Pro Max yet? Has anyone who had one scheduled originally for 1 October got a new date when they were “updated”? BTW, I live in western Washington State. Thanks for any info.

For people activating, I've never once been able to do automated activation just by clicking Activate. I always call the activation number on the old phone and this has never failed me. It's also automated so no one will answer and there is no hold time.

Turn off Find My Phone on the old phone. Turn off the new phone totally. Call 1-877-807-4646 from your old phone or any other phone. Follow prompts (you'll need Verizon passcode). When the number "unexpectedly" hangs up on you (if you're calling from the same number you're activating), then your new phone is activated and you can turn it on. I don't know why they can't warn you that if you're calling from the same number you are activating, it will drop the call. Worked fine today for us.
