I went directly to Verizon. 13 Mini says it will arrive by Sept 24 and iPad says it will ship by Sept 24

They applied my Verizon dollars to the tax upon checkout, everything else will be on my monthly bill. And I guess I can't prepay early as I got a discount package.

Now for case decisions.....
 
I usually call Verizon customer service (611) to preorder but it took forever. Preorders opened at 5am and I had work at 6am smh. So for the first time this year, I preordered through the My Verizon App! It was so damn easy and quick!

got the iPhone 13 Pro Max in the Graphite color in 512GB! So excited!

They fixed the “Ships by”/“Delivers by” issue that has been on their website for 5+ years! Congrats Verizon for finally not confusing everyone.
This made everyone a nervous wreck every year lmao. Glad they finally changed it lol
 
Glad to be back in schedule this year. Got my silver 256gb 13 PM ordered this morning around 8-815. Delivers 8/24.
 
Oh and coming from 11 PM I upgraded to in May 2020 from the iPhone 11 pro. I wish I could keep phones longer.

Same! Main reason why I am switching to 13 pro max is because of my battery. I travel A LOT for work, therefore my phone is constantly in use and charging. My battery capacity is in the 70% now and its extremely noticeable. My phone space also is almost capped, I have 21gb remaining. I went for the 13 1tb Gold Pro Max to alleviate all of these issues.

I had issues pre-ordering again this year. I got my initial iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB in Graphite pre-order in at 5:01 AM PST.

I had to cancel that order and call Verizon. Not a great experience on pre-order day for anyone. I was waiting over 3 hours before I talked to someone... and was transferred many times. I had a second order setup over the phone.

I received order confirmation at 11:45 AM PST.

I was assured everything was as expected this time and ended the call. I then received two emails. "Your order is complete." followed by "Your order is almost complete."

The second email requested I accept terms and conditions. However, when attempting to do so, I am told they aren't required for this order... as I am purchasing at full retail.

I logged into the website and it shows my initial order is cancelled (as expected) and my second order as "Your order is on hold until you take action." once again requesting I accept the terms and conditions by September 25.

I called Verizon again and their automated phone system asked if I was calling regarding my recent order which I was so I said "Yes" and was informed my order placed on September 17 was cancelled ignoring the second order... FOUR hours later and after being transferred around, was assured my order was fine and expected to ship by September 24.

On the Order Status page (while logged out) my order status is listed as "processing," which isn't helpful. Last year, my order was still "processing" after it was delivered.

Will I get my iPhone on September 24? We shall see!
 
Ordered my Sierra Blue IP13 Pro Max 256gb. At 5am, I have three gadgets opened. 2 with Verizon app and 1 on iMac (Verizon website) just in case 2 doesn't work. Both the app didn't work and the website was loading the first 3 minutes but it worked. It asked me several verifications to make sure it was me. I had to pay $200ish because I haven't paid half yet. I guess it was a 30 months contract last year? . So I made sure this time I click the 24 months so I don't have to pay extra next yr. (Maybe $35 upgrade fee). Finished the order at exactly 5:13am. Didn't get my confirmation email until 5:37am. I can't wait for Friday. This is my first time getting a different color. I usually get the sophisticated gold. Bit I guess If I don't like SB then Ill just return it and exchange it with the Gold. Too bad I had to pay $50 for the restocking fee but we shall see!!!!
 
I ordered the graphite 13 PM 1TB literally a few minutes after it went live and somehow it says my estimated delivery is 10/1. There is absolutely no way it got pushed back that quick, especially for that color. Anyone else’s show this?
 
Wow, you are lucky you got the 24 month option. I tried on the verizon site and I could only get 24 months on the standard iPhone 13. Just tried it again and if I chose the 13 Pro I only get 30 months. I know I will be trading in my phone in 2 years so I don’t want to lose out on 6 months of trade in dollars…
I just realized I chose the 30 month option. I generally upgrade every 2-4 years and got 4 phones. Probably wouldn’t have upgraded but the credits were so good.

I assume my option is to cancel and reorder? If I am on 30 does that mean I can’t upgrade in 2 years if I want too?

I was a little later ordering the same configuration and have 10/1.Thinking they had very few of these on launch and looks like most of them will arrive on 10/1.Still hopping my date gets moved up since I have a charge on my card and it says preparing my order.
 
Walked into the local store and pre-ordered a gold 1TB pro max for the wife and a 512GB pro slate grey for myself. After trade in and credits about $1200 out the door total. We don't upgrade every year so we just pay outright....we're very pleased.

Can I ask about plans in this thread? I'd just changed our account to shared Unlimited a few months ago. We were paying $90 for both phones. Didn't even dawn on me that they'd change my plan, but they did (and it didn't come up in conversation while I was there)

I'm now on the $70 Do More plan and they moved him to the $60 Start Unlimited (also 5G, he's got an XR). So I've got some sticker shock going on.

The Verizon page is actually recommending the $60 plan for me too, but I'm not sure if I'd lose any discounts. I have a new iPad coming which will be on the account.

I don't even care about 5G, I just needed a new phone and tried to future-proof myself by getting the 13 over the 12.

(I am not going back into that store until Tuesday at the earliest so I am hoping to get ideas here first)

I am getting the phone through apple but am a Verizon customer. How do
I activate the phone? Do I just put my existing 5G sim into it?
 
I ordered the 13PM Silver yesterday morning at 5am. No issues ordering. That being said, I’ve had issues in the past preordering from Verizon. Last issue was the preauthorization amount to my credit card was $0.03 different than the processed charge when they were going to ship. Caused major issues and delayed the phone by 2 weeks.

Call back in and insist you were offered the “loyalty” unlimited plan that comes with $25 discount right off the top. And if I were you I’d change to a play more plan because of the Disney + Hulu included it’s the same price as the plan your on. The other line on your account should be fine on start unlimited. But the promo for the $1000 discount is a play more plan or higher which is $80 from what I was told.
At minimum insist you were offered their loyalty plan which gives a $25 discount right off the top of your plan. If you setup auto pay and paperless you’ll get another $20 off a month. Which could mean savings.

Great thanks! I am already auto pay and paperless on their card (which gave me Verizon dollars!), but I don't think I'm on the loyalty plan.

Isn't Hulu & Disney just for 6 months? Oh wait, I see you mean Play more vs Do More. Ok, I'll check out the differences! I think Do More will give me the cheaper iPad data plan, she told me $10 for that and I was told $20 a month ago. But she said it wouldn't appear on the bill till I activated the iPad, which doesn't even ship till next week.
 
Any tips on what might be the best way to upgrade my phone and not increase the cost of my plan? I currently have the older "The New Verizon Plan (Medium)", and my bill is about $65 per month ($50 plan + $20 line + employee discounts). If I want to upgrade with the $800 trade-in for my XS, I will also have to upgrade my plan to one of the Unlimited plans and pay at least an extra $20 monthly. I'd prefer not to do that, especially when I don't really care to have 5G. Sticking with 4G is good enough for me.

Is my only option to buy the phone at full cost and swap the SIM card? I'm fine with that, but wish I could at least get a decent trade-in value without having to upgrade my plan. Should I wait until Black Friday deals?

You will get your phone on launch day. This is my first time not preordering the latest iPhone since the iPhone 4s.
I always order thru Verizon and their ship by, estimate of ship, etc are all the same. Don’t worry next week you will be enjoying your iPhone 13.

If you ordered through the apple store app it should be there. If you don’t have the apple store app it’s a free download
