WARNING PLEASE READ!!!

So I just ordered my brother an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

As I was checking out I noticed my shipping and billing address had changed to some sketchy address in FOREST HILLS, NY. Had I not caught that, his phone would have been shipped to that address.

VERIFY YOUR VERIZON CONTACT INFORMATION ASAP!

Anyone having a delay in receiving the order confirmation email? I ordered about 30 minutes ago and have an order number but no confirm email yet.

Yes it took me almost a hour to get my email. But I did get a confirmation number when I ordered Good luck 👍🏾

Yep. Plus Verizon billing info has to match credit card billing info or it won’t go through when it bills you which is like a day or two before it ships.

To a point, at least. I believe you are good as long as the address matches. I've had no issue using my credit card to order even though the Verizon billing/shipping is under another household member's name.

I see everyone using their cards to order. Verizon automatically chose to bill mine to my account. Is that going to delay my order at all? Last time I think I used my credit card. This time, I didn't get an option to update either my shipping address or my payment method.

Account Managers and Authorized Users are the same thing I’m guessing right? Didn’t preorder through Verizon, did it through Apple but figured I’d ask here since we’re all Verizon customers.

Since I wasn't able to bill to my account for whatever reason, I had to use a CC of mine with a different address (same last name as billing address fwiw) to pay for tax/activation fee. I didn't but the phone outright just part of the early upgrade, so it bills to the account monthly. I see the charge pending on my CC already so I'm assuming it's fine? Think it's worth contacting Verizon to update the order or they will try to contact/email if there are issues? Kinda worried if I contact them the order gets messed up/canceled...

Also is anyone noticing their shipping address being truncated/cut off when trying to view their order? Seems like it's a partial address.

I would think so, as long as you know the PIN for your account manager you should be fine. For example, my husband is our account manager and i'm an authorized user, so when i need to call i just need to know his PIN # that he set up on our account.

Yes mine is but for some reason every company truncates my address so I don't even really notice it anymore.

Well I'm stuck in fraud hell - my order this am is now cancelled and I've been on hold forever. All for a charge of $100 for tax on the phone

Now they tell me I can't verify anything and to wait a couple weeks or a month and try placing an order again
 
I skipped doing the trade in online because no matter what, Verizon's site said my IMEI numbers were wrong. But a Verizon rep on social media told me and can trade in my phones at the Verizon store and still get the trade in promos... plus the switch bonus
 
Placed order pro max 128gb. Got order confirmation. No email and when I look in my account it says no orders. But my credit card has been charged $150 already. Ugh

You made me nervous so I am on chat with Verizon support to change the billing address to match the shipping address.
 
For the 2nd year in a row, I accidentally ordered the Pro and not the Pro Max. The upgrade link for "shop iphone Pro" only links to the Pro and there's not a link for the Pro Max unless you go to the smartphone page and select it. It's very deceiving if you're not careful. And they won't let you cancel a pre-order and place a new one.

My wife and I have one of those small (4gb) plans with verizon. From what I see on web sites I need to have and unlimited plan to get those trade in credits, etc. Anyone else seeing this and are there any trade in credits if you keep an non-unlimited plan?

Same issue. Ask about $25 off loyalty unlimited. Switch to that once you do upgrade then you get the $1000 off. Was paying $185 for two lines 4gb. Now I pay $150 with discount and autopay.
The Verizon unlimited loyalty plan is excellent. You get $25 off then if you set up auto pay you get another $20 off and now you’re eligible for the $1000 promo. Was a great deal for us
 
Does anyone remember when they start to send out shipping emails/tracking info? I'm forgetting what day that started last year.

We got the same deal. It was the only thing that convinced me to go up to unlimited.
