Well I went ahead and traded in my iPhone 12 Pro 256 gb, went ahead and grabbed a Deep Purple Pro Max with 1 TB. I received $800 for the 12 Pro, not bad.
 
I got the 14 Pro Max 256GB in Black upgrading from my 13 Pro Max, but only because my dad needs a new phone since we are giving his XR to my nephew. Got the receipt from verizon at 7:58
 
Got my order in for Iphone 14 pro max 512g. Easy pre-order. Now time to wait for the new phone and the threads about
"my screen is yellow/blue/pink/green/any other color tint vs last year"
 
Pre-ordered thru Verizon! Went smoothly. iPM deep purple 512gb. Originally was planning on getting 256gb but decided on the larger storage because I plan to hold on to it for 3-4 years. $800 trade-in value for Xs Max. Completed order at 8:09 am. Estimated delivery 9/16.

So no option for 24 month payment plan anymore. Last year I did 30 month instead of 24 because I’d only have to pay $150 to upgrade early. Next year’s early upgrade gonna be $533.

I hate the 36 month payment term. That’s why I went ahead and paid off my 13 Pro Max and went with iUP this time around. A little more expensive than the 24 month finance through VZ but includes AC+

Anyone know how to buy it outright at full retail through Verizon? It's asking me either for a new line, or upgrading my existing line in which case I'd have to pay off my current device. Is there really no way to order it straight outright for full retail?
 
Pre ordered the 1tb space black pro max. Sending back my iPhone 12 Pro Max 512 gold. Some of u may say the 1 tb pro max is overkill but on this go round in staying with this phone at least till I pay it off unless apple comes up with something truly amazing. Ship by the 16th. Was thinking about getting the ultra since I have a SS gold I can trade in but they will only give 180 and I need to see the ultra in store to see how it looks. Now the waiting game.
 
I always order with Verizon each year and they have never let me down (yearly upgrade here) and historically seem much smoother than Apple.com. This year was smoother than ever, preorders opened 2 minutes early, no lag on the website, by :02 past the hour I had ordered upgrades for my wife and I.

Looking forward to it, and once again quite happy with how Verizon handles preorders. It’s been 8+ years I have been doing this, some years I have had very minor issues but never failed to get a launch day order in.

I wish iUP had an option without AppleCare. I'm willing to take the damage gamble to not have to pay the extra each month.

First time ordering on Verizon (was AT&T customer for over 18 yrs & jumped ship). Was the smoothest experience ever. Same thing happened to me, Verizon let me order 2 minutes early while the Apple store was "closed." Ordered 2 phones on Verizon (14ProMax and 14 Plus) and still the apple website was not letting me in.

Ya if you do trade in promo they force you to change plans. I avoided it and was able to keep my grandfathered plan!
 
Switched to T-Mobile last year but their preorder situation has been a DISASTER this morning. Ain’t nobody got time for that, so I switched back to Verizon 😇

256 GB Pro Max (Gold)

Both set to arrive 9/16 even though the order was placed 50 minutes late

Can someone help me make sense of this? I have 2 device payments left on my iPhone 12 Pro totaling $85. But when I go to pre-order it’s telling me I need to pay off $128. Is this difference the loss of a trade-in credit or something? What’s my best move here?
