I doubt any phone will be hard to get last year for the first day or so. I’ll go through Apple via the Verizon payment program

FYI-through Apple, my spare X qualified for the $1,000. $65 trade in value and the remaining $935 covered by Verizon bill credits.

I got an old iPhone SE 2nd gen, but the button does not work, however it turns on and is in perfect condition otherwise.

Where can I trade this in that would be accepted in this condition for most credit on verizon for the new iPhone deals? Thanks!

Apple. Why does that seem odd?
So the Verizon Payment Plan would be charged via your Verizon bill? What if there's still a remaining balance on your current phone (i.e., the phone you intend to trade in)? How does that get addressed?

Any trade-in credit requires you to be on one of their new plans.
I'm on a 5G Get More family plan so if I trade in my current phone does that mean I would need to go on their Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan?

Yes. You can’t trade in a phone that has a balance. You’ll have to pay off the balance first.

Yes you would need to change to either of those Unlimited plans. Note that only the Unlimited Ultimate offers the full $1k trade-in credit.

Thanks. I don’t know why they make it so complicated. If I switch to the Unlimited Ultimate I believe I would lose access to my streaming services (even under a family plan). Unlimited Ultimate seems to be better for international travel though. If I don’t use my phone as a trade-in towards the iPhone 16 Pro, is it possible to trade it in for an Apple gift card?

I signed up for it for a month. Going to Japan first week of October and will cancel in September. So I guess it helps with my travel and my discount lol…unless I’m stuck with

You would lose access, yes. Trade what in for an Apple gift card?

Just signed up for Verizon Business Pro early so I wouldn’t have to deal with making a brand new account during pre order, hopefully it’s a breeze.

Well I have my preorder set up with Verizon through the Apple app

I get the 1000 total credit but I’m putting 100.00 down as well and will owe 99.00 over 3 years. Not to shabby

Can you sign up for the Ultimate for a month and then cancel it and change to a lower priced monthly plan and still get the bill credits totalling $1000 ??

past few years Verizon pre-orders always seem to start earlier then apples. Think last year i had my phone order b4 9am.

Not sure. Ok find out. It’s only 10.00 extra for me. Still worth it

I’m trying to preorder on Apple Store but I’m getting this error. Has anyone else had this issue?

—We can proceed, but there's something you should know.

Your current account type isn't supported on Apple.

If you'd like to proceed, you'll need to purchase a full-price iPhone and contact your carrier to activate your device.

Are you getting a MIL or EMP discount ?
Is this your carrier saying you have to upgrade to a higher plan ?

When doing it this way (Verizon trade in through Apple app), does it give you the option on how to send in your trade device? Reason I ask is because when going through the process in the Verizon app, there’s an option to bring the trade directly to the store. I like that option better since some have had issues with mail ins and getting the promo credits.

I was going to just take it to Apple

Y'all might not know the answer, but I have the old go more plan on verizon. Now to get the new 16PM I'd need to obviously upgrade the plan. Do you need to upgrade the plan through verizon first before you order the phone or can you order the phone first and then on pickup upgrade and do all of that then?
