Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

If mine is supposed to ship/deliver by 9/26/12 then when will they take my money out? I'm showing nothing on my visa card, not even 1$.
 
FedEx just activated my tracking number. Picked up in West Chester, PA. Delivering on 9/21. It's going to NYC if that makes any difference.

Spaceboy88 - I hope this is true for me, too. I called but didn't have time to remain on hold - sent an email yesterday but haven't gotten a reply.

My tracking, under the detail, it says "future delivery requested".. is there a way to go around that??

Here is mine, and I have seen absolutely nothing besides my initial confirmation e-mail.. I ordered at 11am eastern time... what is your order location?

So I JUST got the emails for my two other phones on the order. These two have the same tracking numbers, but it's different from the 1st email I got this morning so I guess I have to tracking numbers to follow now.

I called fedex and they confirmed delivery for tomorrow.

The woman I spoke with was very aware of the AMEX issue and said that for some reason AMEX has been flagging all the phones as fraud, but that VZW is working to rectify that and it wouldn't have delayed my order.

When I checked order status on Friday afternoon, it said it had been received, was being processed and the ship date was 9/21.

On Monday, I got an email from AmEx about a possible fradulant charge to Verizon for the phone. I confirmed that it was a valid purchase.

On Monday evening, my ship date changed to October 5.

This morning (Tuesday), I checked the status and I got this message:


"We received your order and it is in process.
Payment not taken yet.
Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time."

I am pissed. What is going on???:confused: :mad:

Same with me except I have the black 64gb. I called Verizon and they said that my order was "preparing for shipping" as of 9:00 AM EST.

I'm another 9/26 date lol. I was upset at first, but then a little glad because I added a new line and I plan on switching to my number.

Worried about how the switching will go since I know in the past when I upgraded and switched an LTE phone to my number I had to use two different sim cards and that was only two months ago, now they are telling me I only need one nano sim card.

This way I'm able to view the activation mistakes of others and be prepared for it.

Yes absolutely. I've been jailbreaking since my 3G....unfortunately with every new processor update, the wait for a stable untethered jailbreak will be long...we may have to wait 3+ months depending on what exploits they will find in the A6...
 
Interestingly enough, mine was still showing as "In progress" and then I called them because I discovered that my CC had flagged it as fraudulent. I cleared it and called them to ensure the order was ok. As SOON as I got off the phone I checked my order status and now have a tracking number with a delivery date of 9/21. :D

Got my tracking number from Fedex. Picked-up as of today. Sitting in West Chester, PA. Delivery date 9/21. The worst part is I work literally 10 minutes from that location. Can't I just go get it?!
 
Not sure if this has been posted, but my tracking on Fedex shows "Future Delivery Requested" for Friday - so I'm guessing I'm not getting my Thursday :)
 
Just got a shipping conformation. Had the fraud department from AMEX call to verify, was bumped back to a 10/5 shipping date by Verizon. Called AMEX back, they called Verizon for me. Now phone has been shipped via Fedex priority overnight.
 
Anyone with this location, if you get tracking info and/or your card charged, if you could post the time you ordered too it would be really helpful.

My delivery is date is set tomorrow, I called FedEx and they confirmed it will be delivered tomorrow. I highly doubt FedEx can handle to delivery 2 million iPhones on Friday on top of their other deliveries.
 
I plan on walking into Verizon friday and getting one mid afternoon.. I figure it really wont be that hard.. This phone cant be that much in demand..

Nice! I ordered mine at the same time as you, similar order number, and same location and I just got my shipment email for my 64GB black about 5 minutes ago.
