Has anyone's order from Verizon still stuck at Order Is Processing?

My bank has yet to be charged for the order, and I placed my order of a white 32gb from Verizon's website roughly around 3:20 am EST.

I'm beginning to get a) jealous from other's shipment status and b) worried that there's an issue with my order.

I placed my order around 10AM eastern time 9/14. My email says 9/21 delivery (and online status shows 9/21 ship), but the status hasn't changed from "order is in process" since I placed my order.

I have no pending charge on my card, but called my CC company and they had no holds or fraud alerts. I called Verizon over the weekend and they said all was fine.

But I'm starting to wonder why I don't have tracking yet.

My order number is 71xxx from D77201.
 
We need a thread for those of us who haven't seen any movement at all on our orders. We can all console each other. Haha.


I know! It makes me sad and even more anxious seeing all these numbers and dates. Too bad my delivery isn't expected until the 26, or "BY 9/26" so hopefully it will come before. My Verizon guy said it could very likely come before that date. As the release gets closer, the dates move around. Could just be false hope though.

I spoke with Verizon earlier this afternoon, and the rep whom I spoke with said that the goal is to have all orders that are shipping 2 day delivery to be completed by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow (providing that CC goes through, etc.). She said that orders that needed to have CC info re-verified will be done overnight delivery.

So, with that in mind and no unforseen surprises, you should see things start happening any minute now. I am in the same location code as you and she said all that had to do with was 'internal'. That chances are our phones will be sent from West Chester, PA.

So I got my shipment emails and tracking numbers, and it looks like I have two different tracking numbers, yet I ordered 3 phones. Are they shipping black and white separately...?

I ordered 2 white ones (both 16 GB), and 1 black one (32 GB). My black one shipped first, with its own tracking number, and then the white ones shipped a couple hours later with a different tracking number.

Is there a way to tell how many packages are on a shipment? I know when I used to ship UPS, we could do multiple packages on the same tracking number.

I don't see any mention of that on the FedEx tracking page. I'm only curious because I'm going to be picking mine up directly from the FedEx sorting facility, since I won't be home to sign for them on Friday. Just want to know if I should be getting 2 boxes or 3...

Yep, sounds like my situation. I called Verizon over the weekend to confirm as well, and they said the same thing.

Another note...

I also did inquire because I live in a street that has "Road West" as my address, and on my billing and shipping info, "West" it was omitted. I asked if that would cause my order to bounce because of the address, but they said they would contact me if there is an issue. But still, that worries me and knowing it may be delivered to the wrong address, which unfortunately, they said they can't change.

mine hasn't changed and i keep checking. I'm trying to stay positive. Its only Tuesday after all. If by tomorrow night there is no change, I'm going to call.

I called and they told me not to worry that I'd be getting it on the 21st since I ordered on the 14th an hour after EST time preorder opening.
Should I be in a state of worrying with it being Tuesday?

I am in a similar boat. It's getting to be that time where you either call and really don't find out anything or you wait a day and call to find out there is an issue but it's too late to receive by Friday.
 
Your information is very consoling! I'm worried there may be an issue with my billing because of a missing letter on my address, and if it's true that it can be reverified for an overnight delivery, that would be fantastic!

Here is mine, and I have seen absolutely nothing besides my initial confirmation e-mail.. I ordered at 11am eastern time... what is your order location?

This is why the order# has nothing to do with shipping of orders. Your order# is way less than mine and I show the 21st as delivery.

I ordered in the first 10 minutes and got a 9/21 delivery but used the wrong credit card so the date got bumped up to 10/5.

If I call and change the credit card number will that get my order back on time for a friday delivery? Has anyone had success at this?
 
I just called VZW Online Sales line and actually waited less than a minute to speak with someone.

She brought up my order and said everything looked fine. She went on to say that tracking numbers are going out in batches and there isn't a lot of rhyme or reason to how they are being batched. She said (at least in my case) I should have tracking by the end of the day.

Received my tracking number abt 2hrs ago via fed ex. It's in PA, right now.

Don't know how much this will help but here's my situation.

I ordered around 12:15 am PST time on 9/14
Got my confirmation email at 12:30 am
Location #: W779001

Finally my card was charged at about 5pm yesterday.
My status is "Your Order Has Been Sent For Processing"
and it says it will ship by 9/21/2012

I called today to see if everything was going smoothly.
I was told that it will ship out tomorrow 9/19.
So I should have my tracking information by tomorrow :D
2 day shipping
Arrives 9/21


Just have to wait patiently for now :rolleyes:

I ordered about 3:30ish am EST. No movement at all. The rational person in me says it's only Tuesday, chill out :cool:. The iphone/techno geek in me asks why I'm not getting any change :eek:.

So here's my sob story:

Preordered at 4:15 EST and got the confirmation e-mail shortly thereafter. Last night I see that my status had changed to where payment hasn't been taken yet and my order ship date slipped to 10/05. I figured something was wrong with the billing info.

I called them early this morning (the lines were closed last night when I found out) and asked what the deal was. They said the charge was denied and I asked if I could just pay for it now. The rep put me on hold, came back, and then said that the shipping date would stay at 10/05 if they processed my order now.

Here's where I got dumb. I took the rep at her word and canceled the order and said I would wait in line early Friday morning.

After reading this thread, it seems that I should've just called the Internet orders department and gotten my payment processed there and I'm sure I'd have tracking info by now. Their incompetence is leading to my inconvenience, so it is very frustrating.

Moral of the story is to not believe what the reps tell you, I was pretty much lied to.

TL;DR I believed a Verizon rep and canceled my order.

I'm with ya, I ordered it 9/14 at 7am Mountain time, immediately received my confirmation email with a Delivery day of 9/21. The status' show 9/21 ship "Order is in process". I guess we just get to keep waiting and hoping.

That's the same info that my rep told me when I called in. They have no pattern to how they are doing them, just doing them 'in batches', but they are to have all done by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. So any minute now things will get moving.

man! i'm so frustrated! still says it's in process and my card hasn't been charged yet! i ordered it roughly at 3:15am EST on 9/14!! verizon rep told me it's going to ship out on the 21st....i think she knows nothing! someone give me some comfort haha
