Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

See this is where I hate Verizon. They put untrained, idiodic CSRs on the frontlines. If your email says September 21st and your order status says September 21st and it still hasn't changed, you're good. What's the current status?
 
I live in west Chester pa and the iPhone is coming from west Chester which I guess is good. But it said out for delivery, but got interrupted, and now says delivers Friday the 21st. So mine really didn't ship anywhere!!!

Finally just got sent to processing an the pending charge is showing on my AMEX acct so the ball is rolling now. :)

Albeit....around hour 4 the party get old.
 
My status just switched to "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet." and my ship date changed to 10/5/2012 after saying 9/21/12 all week. Anyone else had this happen?

Call internet sales. Something got messed up there.

I know others got this when Verizon had issues charging the credit card provided. I would call them ASAP. Alot of people were having charges declined by their CC companies due to fraud alerts.

Just weird that a lot are rolling out and I'm getting a bit of run around.

you see where that one has that kind of blurry line in the "tracking number" area? That's what mine looks like, but all there is is the order number and then a blank box below, but it has looked like that since I ordered. I pre-ordered at a verizon store (i regret this immensely) at about 10:30 am CST, and it has said "deliver by: 9/26" it makes me very very sad :(

I live in the Bay Area (California) and ordered the iPhone 5 from Verizon Online last Friday (9/14) at 12:10am PDT.
I received a FedEx Tracking number from VZW earlier today. :)

Current FedEX Tracking Status:

Ship Date: Sep. 18, 2012
Delivery Date: Sep, 21, 2012 by 3pm.

Last year when I pre-ordered my iPad 3 I had my local nearby FedEx Distribution Facility HOLD it there and was then able to pick it up there early in the morning, instead of having to possibly anxiously wait all day at home for delivery. I plan to do the same this year with my iPhone 5.

I got the same message about 10/5 after the 9/21 all week and even the confirmation email said delivered by 9/21 grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Same as me, except I never got a shipping confirmation email. I got the pending charge as of 9/17/12, but still no tracking information, and as of this afternoon, customer service confirmed that it hadn't been shipped yet.
 
My iPhone sure is getting a lot of action for just being in 1 city...

Some ****ing jackass on the phone at Verizon just told me that all iPhone 5 orders are going to be shipped on the 28th and that the 21st was the release date.
I swear to God, I'm canceling my order if it's not in my hands before the 22nd.

That's dumb, and not true. Hundreds of us here have tracking numbers for 9/21. Don't call customer service, call internet sales!

THIS. They know a lot more than the 611 reps. They update the Internet sales teams faster and get them up to speed with solutions first.
Let me put it this way. Sales = profit. Store sales = small profit. Internet sales = majority of profit. Customer service reps usually equal a loss or break even, ie. bill adjustments, credits, ect. So if you had an issue with processing payments but found a solution, what team would you want to inform first and foremost?

Good luck. If your going to find a solution the Internet sales team reps will have the answer if there is one.
