Still nothing has changed on mine. When do you think something will happen? It says my delivery date will be 10/5 D:

Dude, I say 'sit tight'. It's possible that you might not see clear progress (credit card charge, status change, tracking number) until 2-3 days prior to 10/5, so don't stress. Fedex and UPS are delivering by Standard Overnight Delivery, so they don't need much advance time. Once your CC is charged, phones have been going to shippers on same day or next day.

Verizon, Fedex, UPS are busy with the crush of millions of phones that need to be delivered prior to 10/5.

1. Where are you seeing DELIVERY dates? When I check my status, it says:

Here is the status of your Pre-order:
We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: 09/21/2012


2. My order status hasn't changed from what I C&Pd. Should I start to worry?
 
mine coming friday. but wont be home. ack....

Got my order in a few minutes past midnight on order night with no glitches, scheduled for Friday delivery in Southern California. Fedex saying 'in transit" which means its on a pallet with 500,000 somewhere, although not updated since 1am.

Not going to be home though on Friday w/ fedex and they need a signature. Can't leave a note on the door either. Maybe I can pay a neighbor to stay home? lol

Damn... Damn... Might have to see if I can pick it up Saturday from a fedex office I guess... indirect signature being required sucks... for me at least..

Mine just changed an hour ago. The rep said they are still processing until midnight EST.
 
He's full of crap too. I ordered at 11:30am on 9/14 and mine is set for delivery on Friday.

I'm super jealous! I ordered in person on 9/14 at 11 am CST and my delivery is set for 9/26 and I have had no further updates other than "we have received your order and it is in process." wahhh :( I'm in the freaking dark.

That's pretty neat. Definitely explains why my package has been "In Transit" since 2 AM :rolleyes:

I received another email from Verizon, no tracking number though. Guess we'll see what happens overnight.

Credit card was finally charged. Now the order status page says "Your order has been sent for processing."

Just giving a heads up since I haven't seen anyone in this order location post confirmation.

Do you have a tracking number that shows Saturday delivery? I've been on the phone with them 3 times tonight. Originally they told me Friday and suddenly today they are telling me the 26th since I ordered at 10am eastern. If you have proof of Friday tracking number and that you ordered after me I will have some choice words for them.
 
Same location and in NYC too, I got an email from Amex saying that the charge had been flagged, called them right away, then went to verizon status check and it said ship date 5/10. However, now it is blank, I called verizon and they told me that the payment went through and everything was ok for my shipment tomorrow and delivery on friday.
All this happened within the last hour so I haven't gotten any tracking number and my status still says We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet.

Hope you get it on friday too!

After millions of F5's my order status finally changed to:
We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet.

Thank God for this thread or I wouldn't have known that means it triggered a fraud hold. Just got off the phone with Capital One and I'm on hold with the VZW internet orders number now.

I'm actually pretty hopeful about this turn of events as previous posts in this thread have stated that once they cleared up the fraud hold and pushed payment through, they immediately got their tracking emails.

FYI: Ordered 2 black 16gbs at 9:50am ET on 9/14 and expected ship date has been 9/21 until just now when it got pushed to 10/5 after the hold.

Not much more waiting now! So excited! Does Fedex deliver before 3PM? I get home from school around 2:10PM so, if they come early I want to make sure someone is home to sign for the delivery.
 
What is it about a new iDevice that turns us all into irrational nutcases? LOL :D I about flipped my wig when the CS rep told me I was kicked out of line and had to wait until 10/05, only to call internet sales and be told that wasn't true and everything was on schedule. It was like the sun came over the horizon with a jerk, the birds started singing again, the air was fresher and all was right with the world again. :D
 
Seems my order fell through. Talked to 4 different people and all gave me different answers but the only consistant thing they offered was to cancel the order. I should've checked my order sooner but I placed my order on 9/14 a little past midnight PST. Got the email next morning saying my order will arrive 9/21. Checked the preorder site a couple days ago and see that there is an error in my order. First call to verizon pretty much blew me off and told me to cancel or go to the store. Second person was more helpful and told me they sent a SMS to another line about the order and tried to transfer me to the fraud department in case the credit card was having issues.

Finally called internet sales and the first person there told me to wait for an email on the order since some other group was working on solving the problem. I emailed verizon earlier and they tell me to call since the order is on hold. I called back internet sales again and the person tells me there is nothing they can do and I need to put in a new order and they may be able to expedite it in the next batch. I put in a new order and they end up cancelling my original order. I hope I didn't make a mistake in cancelling it.
 
Until tonight each time I checked the status, I got:

your order has been received and is in process.

Tonight I get taken to a screen with my order number and the words "tracking number" and "courier" but the space next to each is blank? :confused:
