Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Just here to make sure that I'll get my phone on the 21st or before. I ordered at 2:15 AM PST and Verizon's site says the expected delivery date is the 21st, but I have read articles saying the phones sold out in an hour, so I just want to make sure that the date is accurate.

Currently the Verizon site says "We have received you order and it is in process."

It might come to the same thing, but they do not mean the same thing unless the shipping is same day.

...just sayin (even if it has been said a hundred times before) :D

Make sure when you use either form that you actually click the submit button rather than hitting Enter.

and why is there no charge to my account?? should i be worried?
 
I ordered ten minutes after pre-orders started. However I just noticed that I forgot to put apt number on my order. Verizon said they only way to fix is to cancel the order. I told them to keep the order, and I'll just probably have to pick it up in the evening at FedEx location.
 
Pre ordered and paid full price around 11:58 p.m. PST on the 13th. Haven't gotten a confirmation email, the pre order status page says, "We received your order and it is in process." and the ship date says "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time."

Another order I placed with an upgrade around 12:05 a.m. I got a confirmation email and that order shows it will be delivered the 21st. Wonder if I going to get screwed on my first order

The people who ordered from apple.com aways seem to get updates first because apple ships from the factory straight to the consumer, Verizon receives bulk orders here state side and then ships them out so they will all get tracking #'s on like monday tuesday, where we will get them wednesday/thursday time frame.

It's a completely different company and shipping/fulfillment process and system. One has nothing to do with the other and this isn't even a designation Verizon has used on the past.
 
Once again, Shipping on the 21st means it will arrive on the 21st, don't worry.

Apple.com People will start getting tracking numbers here in a day or so. We will NOT. We will not be getting ours till around Wednesday or even Thursday. DON'T WORRY! THe reason is Apple.com orders are tracked from China to their houses, ours are tracked from major FedEx hubs state side to our houses.

THE ABOVE IS CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP ASKING STOP WORRYING. I have ordered BOTH the 4 and 4s via Verizon's site over the last two years. Their wording in their system simply isn't great.

I got my phone previously on or before launch day.

Neither are their confirmation emails which don't show the entire shipping address sometimes.

The people on the internet are incredible sometimes.

Hi guys,

I preordered 2 white i5's through the Verizon website (one for my gf and I), but would like to exchange one with a black i5 instead. Is it possible for me to swap one of the white i5's for a black one through an apple store, or is it necessary for me go to a Verizon store to get it swapped? I want to also note that I'm switching from Sprint to Verizon so I'm not sure if that's going to be more of an inconvenience.*
