Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

mine is out for delivery!!! but now i kinda have doubts that the driver wont deliver it because my street suffix abbreviation is missing a letter at the end (suppose to be BND for Bend but listed as BN) i called fedex about it 2 days ago to try to have it corrected and they said to call back this morning when they had the full shipping info, but this time they said they can't/won't correct it or relay the info to the driver because verizon has to do it?? :mad:

As it turned out, the FedEx status just updated and several scans weren't showing. It showed up locally about 10 minutes ago. They don't show out for delivery yet but at least it's progress.

That's exactly the same thing that happened to me. I live on a street extension. It's supposed to read EXT but the Verizon system lopped off the T. The system also repeated the street number for some reason. I tried unsuccessfully to get it changed. Verizon said FedEx wouldn't change it until it actually arrives here and went into exception. I let the FedEx driver know that it was messed up and he'll get it straightened out. He's going to bring it to my work anyhow. I hope yours doesn't turn into a mess.

I have a similar problem - the address is supposed to be AVE at the end, but is just AV. Called FedEx and they said that the address is correct, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about :)
 
Anyone in NYC have their phones out for delivery right now? Mine is still at the local facility .... assuming it's still early and they have a gazillion of them to load up into the trucks.

I'd be willing to be it's already on the truck and in route to it's final destination, FedEx's system just hasn't caught up yet.

You should have called fedex... They can put notes in th system for the driver to see lol

Try checking on the iship.com link mentioned earlier - mine had a 30 min delay on the FedEx tracking site. Where's your destination Fedex facility?

Update: 8:48:00 AM On FedEx vehicle for delivery
 
Mine went from one sort facility last night to another one this morning, still not out for delivery yet!

No problem! It is getting exciting! I just checked and my phone is in Phoenix so it is getting closer. Bummer that I didn't get an e-mail update from FedEx or a text from a 3rd party to track my shipment. Can't anything work right? :rolleyes:

FedEx better have my package on a truck out for delivery by 8AM. I really don't care what their excuse is and I won't show any sympathy. My package was sitting in Memphis since early Tuesday. If they couldn't handle shipping everything the night before then they should have used the extra days to ship the packages in waves.
