Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I have to activate my phone with a Verizon rep over the phone. Can I call 611 from my current iPhone 4 to activate the 5? I understand that the service will drop from my current device, but it takes a few minutes, right?
Haven't skipped a class in 46 years, but don't blame you cuz I'm just as excited. (On FedEx vehicle for delivery at 8:34 CST)
It would have been nice if the truck came before I had to go to class so I wouldn't skip but that's how it goes I guess. Now I'm just getting some exercise in from going to the window every time I hear a truck outside lol Hopefully this phone comes before I need to leave for work at 2:30...I'm not too worried about that yet though since it said it went on a truck for delivery at 8:34am CST...
Try checking on iship.com No idea if they'll have the correct information, but you can try.
Mine is out for delivery as well! Hopefully it will be here in the next three hours!

I keep hearing truck-like sounds and when I turn around to look out the window... nothing. I even tried to take a nap on the couch thats close to our front door so that in case the FedEx guy comes, I would still wakeup. Needless to say, I couldn't fall asleep.
Mine arrived at 11:28! Too bad I can't go home and see it until around midnight...(school in NYC and concert tonight). Looks like my case is coming earlier than I thought and should arrive today too! Tomorrow I'm going right to Verizon in the morning to switch it to my number and then I'll be all set!

Mine was delivered at 9am local time.
It automatically ported from AT&T as soon as I chose to "set it up" as a new phone.
It's nice - just like the 4/4s, but taller, faster, and lighter. Really pleased so far.
