Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Mine is nowhere to be found---fedex mis-delivered

FedEx delivered mine to someone else!!

They don't know where it is at!!!!!

WTF---FEDEX worst company EVER!!!!!

Remind me never to use them again!!!
 
It has arrived :) Since I have dogs, I went outside to get it. The guy says "everyone has been expecting this".

It is a beautiful black 64GB :)

Me too! I really need to get out of the house and run errands before work today, but I can't in good conscience leave until my iPhone has been delivered.
 
Mine was on the truck at 8:30 and the local time is now almost 12:30 but still no delivery.
 
Out for delivery, Im still at work but likely my wife knows the importance and is at home now and waiting for it to bring it to me at work :) I got a winner! I think her getting my 4S helps her motivation :)
 
They made a delivery attempt but no one was home. #What happens now? I think they'll try again on Monday but is there anyway to get it today or tomorrow.

I'm with you all the way. I can't even order off the Vz website because we don't get mail delivery to the house (just a PO address) and, thus, our house address isn't in Vz's Postal Service data base. We have a brand new tiny Verizon store in a neighboring town, but I'm guessing it will be swamped today - and it doesn't even open until 10 a.m. - its regular hours - on this crazy day.
 
I'm still waiting on mine. Out for delivery. I work from Home. So I have a live stream of my front drive stream to my office right now so I know when FedEx shows up.

I think you can go to the local FedEx center and pick it up personally, once an attempt to deliver has been made. But, being Friday, you probably have to wait until the truck gets back there and who knows if they're open on Saturdays. I've seen FedEx deliver on Saturday around here (UPS doesn't normally).

Also, the FedEx person may make another attempt later today. That's happened to me.
 
The FedEx guy just brought my phones to work but work is getting in the way of me opening them. :)

I live in a city of about 30,000. I asked him if it was hectic and he said no. He owns the routes on the east side of town and he said he had 8. He said the west side owner had 12.
 
I had pre-ordered a Black 32g iPhone 5 through Verizon. Had a delivery date of 9-26 (was a little late on the pre-order). Just swung by the Verizon store on my lunch break and they had 2 left, a black 16 and a white 32, so I got the white 32!

Cancelled my pre-order, so maybe it'll bump someone up from a later date into the 26th. Location code was: N215401

Love the phone so far! My first iPhone!
 
mines out for delivery... wont' be able to open it until I get home... maybe clocking out early today.

Saw fedex driving up the street and was at the door when he pulled up :)
