No problem at all. Did it say, "We received your order and it is in process" first or was this the second update you got?
The was first, then it changed to "Your order has been sent for processing"

I went and refreshed my Verizon status page and the date changed to 11/30/0002, I pretty much bursted out laughing! But, I refreshed the page again and now there is no date!
But on a more series note: I ordered Sept. 14th at 4PM via Verizons site, and my status just changed to "Your order has been sent for processing". I also just got billed but still no tracking number yet!
Hopefully I'll get it before Friday (Original delivery date was the 9/28)

I ordered a black 64 from my Verizon store on the 14th around 5pm. Got a confirmation email from Verizon that same evening indicating order received and delivery by 9/28/12. I set an email alert with my credit card to notify me when a charge is made over a certain amount. Waited and waited like everyone else but there was no change of status when checking Verizon's Preorder site. Was beginning to think something went wrong with the order.
Around noon today 9/25/12, I called Verizon's 800 number mentioned earlier in this thread. Person told me that the order is definitely processing now and I should get an email tomorrow on the 26th. About an hour and a half later at 12:30pm, I get the email alert from my credit card company that the Verizon transaction went through. At 2:36pm, I received an email from Verizon "Your order has shipped" including a Fedex tracking number. I check Verizon's Preorder site again and it still shows "your order has been sent for processing." but the expected ship date had moved up to 9/25/12 instead of 9/28/12. No tracking number or Courier listed. I click the Fedex tracking number link and it shows standard overnight delivery. Ship date 09/25/12, expected delivery 9/26/12. Shipping details start out at 1:30pm today at the main Fedex hub in Memphis. It is still in Memphis as of 6:00pm. There is no mention of how the phone got to Memphis from China etc.
Absolutely, Positively I am certain that Fedex won't fail me now. They are fast and reliable, usually. So in the end, I believe our notifications come at the last minute and Verizon's Preorder site is just not updated enough for actual tracking. You just have to wait for that tracking number email from Verizon and hopefully your package arrives withing a couple of days. Crossing my fingers still.

I cannot believe this!!! I live on the Central Coast of California, placed the pre-order by phone to Vz at 6:30 a.m. the 14th. Have a D543xxx location number (which i've discovered must be East Coast).
My phone was billed and shipped yesterday, to be here today by 4:30 pm. At about 3 pm today, my FedEx tracking was updated to say the phone had gone from Westchester, PA, at 2 a.m. this morning and arrived some 12 hours later in Coatsville, PA.
Needless to say, it wasn't delivered today and now there is NO delivery date on the FedEx tracking report. HOWEVER, I'm thrilled to learn that my phone is currently on the Merry-Go-Round in MEMPHIS!!!
I always thought FedEx was a primo delivery service. They must be overwhelmed??? So, a warning to all... believe it when you see it.

Yea, FedEx screwed me too. I had a delivery date for 9/21, but the phone didnt show. I made a call to Fedex on the morning of 9/22 asking what gives, and they told me to wait till noon, it would be delivered then. I called them back at 1 asking where the hell is my iPhone, and they told me that the Fedex warehouse wasnt even open that day to begin with!
So after having a depressing weekend, I finally received my phone on 9/24, and I am loving it!
As an update...ordered on 9/14 at 7pm EST w/ a delivery of 9/28. Got a change in status about 5:30 and CC had been charged. Got the email about 2:25am but while it had a FedEx tracking number in it, the number is not in the FedEx system yet (as of 5:30am). Not sure if it will come today or tomorrow, but at least it is on the way.

Thats what my package said yesterday that it shipped and would be delivered the same day. But it wasn't. Something about Fedex didnt get to pick the package up on time. So it's suppose to be delivered today, i wouldn't be surprised if yours was the same. I'd call to verify
Just curious, but does anyone have an estimate on when the package should be trackable on FedEx relative to the time I receive my Tracking number?

This morning, I notice my iPhone made the cross-country flight overnight from Memphis to California, and is now three hours south of here in Ontario, CA. That means it will be on a truck sometime this morning (I hope) up to this area and then ??? So, maybe late today or *gasp* tomorrow ??? I'm comforted to know it's at least on the same side of the country as I am.

My order status page stopped working when my card was charged and I got a tracking number about 24 hours later (with a delivery date of the next day).
Ordered 14th at 12:30CST and will be receiving it today.
Fedex Delivered this morning 9/26/12 at 10:45am. Looks like crossed fingers strategy worked.
If you're getting the number from the vzw store page, it might have been like mine where there was a 6 in front of my tracking number that I copy and pasted. See if yours is like that, the number should be 12 digits, not 13.
That was exactly it, there was a "9" in front of mine ha. Anyways says that fedex will deliver today by 3:00 p.m.
