Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I'm pretty paranoid about all of the problems with the iPhone 5 people are having.

I haven't heard of anyone getting an actual iPhone 5 that wasn't damaged when opening it.

and those bugs.. :eek:
 
I also ordered on 9/14 at Verizon store at 5:30 pm EST, and still show "Your order has been sent for processing" for many days now. Expect ship date is 9/28 still waiting for the tracking and had called Verizon to ask for status update the answer was the same as checking on the web.
, and hoping my iphone5 will be here at least on time so I can enjoy over the weekend.

FedEx tracking still showing 9/26 est, but phone still sitting on the ground in Memphis. Hasn't moved since I got the tracking number.

My black one was perfect, no scuffs or any other damage. I had some WiFi issues though but reset the Network settings and so far so good. I'll just exchange it if it comes back.

From my (limited) experience, overnight deliveries are so fast they often outstrip the tracking ... believe the delivery date/time.
 
Still not showing any information in my FedEx tracking page. I'm guessing it will show up in the vzw store tomorrow without any updates

UPDATE: so the reason my tracking wasn't showing anything was because there is a 6 in front of my tracking order that I copied in. It shows it on the vzw preorder page, but there is a small gap after that which I assumed was just a formatting error. Guess not.

Ordered 9/14 approx 330pm est. ships today, here tomorrow.

Just signed up to say that my iPhone has been shipped at 11:00 am. The original shipping date was to be 9/28 but the estimated arrival is now 9/26.

I ordered mine about 2 pm PST on the 14th. It was a nice surprise to find out I'll be getting it early!
 
Verizon Business order

My company ordered my iPhone and all I have is a number that begins with VZB. Is there any way to track the order? I don't have access to anything other than the VZB number and the location it will be shipped to.

It was the same with me (also business order), and I was unable to get any online status updates and was unable to do any tracking until I actually got my shipping notice.

VZ was pretty good about responding to email requests. The couple of times I emailed them they would respond within an hour or two to let me know my delivery est was unchanged.

woohoo! On FDX flight # 500 inbound. Looks good for delivery tomorrow.
 
Verizon has issues

Got my phones and one of them isn't working because the phone number that Verizon assigned isn't in their system!!! How is this even possible? The number is printed on the receipt, etc. I have been on the phone with them for hours and now they are saying it could take days to resolve. so annoyed...:mad:
 
Did u guys order accessories with your phones? I ordered a case with mine. Can't help but think that's what's taking mine.
 
Order status has finally changed to "your order has been sent for processing" estimated ship date has disappeared and my cc was charged. Ordered on 9/14 around 430 arizona time online. going to call in a bit to see if they have a tracking number for me.

Did you order anything with it?? I ordered mine like 4 central on 9/14 and it still says we have received your order and are something something processing it.
 
Got my iPhone 5 on launch day. Brought it to school to show it off and everybody was passing it around lol. Even teachers were jelly. Feels good to be the first of many to have the iPhone 5.

P.S. It didn't have any scuffs/marks.
 
So when I checked my status my page finally changed. Although no tracking number, or courier... Status says ship by 9/28. My email receipt says that the delivery date would be 9/28... Any other 9/28's out there with some progress reports?? Ordered on about 4 PM friday the fourteenth. Toooo excited!!
 
Just got the update that "your order has been sent for processing" and CC was charged. It is weird that first the expected ship date was blank, then 10/19/2012, then blank, then 10/05/2012. Now it is blank again...

Ordered around 4pm EST Sep. 14th.

Finally!!!!!!!

Can i haz screen shot? My screen looks different altogether than from before. Doesn't say sent for processing or anything. Although my CC was charged. No email tho.
 
My status finally changed, it now says Your order has been sent for processing and the estimated date is gone. I ordered at about 7 PM central time on the 14th.
 
This is my first time getting an iPhone I was so excited when I pre ordered (this was also my first time pre ordering anything). I thought pre ordering would mean I would get an iPhone on launch day or something close to that. I ordered on 09/15/12. I'm not supposed to get mine till 10/05/12 no status updates yet no tracking number no anything! I'm very dissapointed :( I will never again pre order a iPhone! I hope once it does finally arrive it isint all damaged.

Here's my ?..... Does this happen with every iPhone launch???

As you preordered the day after available, I would imagine it would come in october. I preordered mine the day of, at 3 in the afternoon. I probably wont get mine until closer to Friday. People were preordering at like the second the preorder page became available. But I too like you thought i would have the damn thing by now :( :( I feel your pain. First iPhone btw.
