Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Just out of curiosity, are you having any Wi-Fi or screen issues (App Store glitch thing)?
They charged my Amex card!
My credit card was charged within the past two hours or so! Still in the pending charges area (Amex) but it's there!
The status on the VZ site hasn't changed yet except that on the link in the confirmation email, the tracking info says it will ship by 10/5. There is no tracking number or courier yet.
I ordered two phones (32 gb and 16gb, both black) from my local VZW store on the 15th at around 5:00pm.

Edited to add that SIRI really sucks, tho. This is my first experience with it and the voice recognition is terrible, which is surprising because the voice recognition on my Macbook is excellent. Don't know what the deal with SIRI is.
Woo, mine has been in transit from Memphis since 3:45 today! Nobody will be home until about 11 AM tomorrow, so do you think we should put a note on the door in case they get here earlier? There is apparently no FedEx Location Pickup because when I pressed hold at FedEx location it said that they couldn't do that for our order. Oh well I'm so excited!!!

i would just cancel if you haven't been charged yet (or call Verizon customer support), unfortunately, my dad wouldn't want to mess with having to go get a different store so i don't have the option.
No Shipping Status
So I have a receipt in Verizon for my iPhone 5 order. My credit card also has been charged, but I haven't received any shipping information. This is all my status shows. The CSR over the phone knew nothing either...so I feel like I'm stuck in limbo. Just would love to have my hands on that iPhone...haha. Anyone else having a similar problem?

It's been like that for 1-2 days. Credit Card was charged yesterday...just looks like everyone else's process has been quick and they have gotten their email. Just wondering what the deal is...if it's happened to others or whatever.
UPDATE: My iPhone 5 FINALLY arrived late this afternoon - 48 hours after it was shipped & after traveling from Connecticut to Pennsylvania (two different places), Memphis (Oh, yeah!), Ontario (CA), & on the truck for delivery this morning at 9:02 a.m. Arrived here at 4:10 p.m.
Was beginning to think I bought a phantom iPhone 5.
Warning to all:
If you bought your iPhone 5 using one phone number upgrade and plan to switch it to another line ... DON"T TURN IT ON until you call Vz's airtime-free access number 611 (on your old phone) and get a VZ rep to walk you through the set up. Otherwise, you will have to get a new SIM card and that will delay your activation for at least one day (or more.)
Adios for now! it's worth the wait!! See you in other forums...

Just a comment: For me, it was nearly 12 hours before I got the FedEx tracking number from VZ.
That was in my definition of "right before"
I'm not talking 10 minutes.
I got that screen in the morning, and I had a tracking number in the afternoon.

On a side note: I also called CSR with no help.
They see the same thing we do on there tracking page.
The only thing we can do at this point is?

Mine also said this earlier today.
Then i checked it again an hour later and it went back to 9/28.
IMO: I think someone over there at VZ is pushing buttons they should not be pushing.
