Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Finally my card was charged and the message now says the order has been sent to processing! ...but not shipping number yet


In general how long have you guys waited for a tracking number after your card was charged?

Finally got my iPhone 5

I ordered my black 32gig about 3pm on the first day of pre-order and it arrived yesterday. I was one of the unlucky ones that got a scratched phone right out of the box too :mad:

My card was charged about 6:30 last night. Got the email from Verizon with tracking number around 9:30. To be delivered today by 3pm via Fedex. A day early for me. Crossing fingers that it's not defective unit.:eek:
 
My online order status changed to the page that has a "+" for tracking with no actual tracking number. My credit card has been charged so the end is near! Pre-ordered on 9/15 (PM) with original 10/5 shipping date.

This BETTER mean I get my tracking number tonight or tomorrow.

If not, I will be very, very upset.

And then when I do get it, there's the likely chance it is damaged or a hardware defect (scuffs, screen leaks, home/wake button loose, battery loose, etc.)

Ordered 9/15 in Verizon store around 12:20 pm

Pending charges just hit, Order status sent for processing.
 
I'm beginning to feel slightly better now.

Maybe I will finally get mine soon. :(

Do you guys have 'deliver by' / 'ship by' October 5?
 
ugh...Keep trying to get my upgrade eligibility pushed up one week.

Verizon is holding tight to the will not move eligiblity date for iPhones rule.:(

I did have a 10/5 ship date. Update: just got tracking info and it will be here tomorrow

Alright, thanks. I think 2GB is enough. I don't plan on watching any video or anything. Just web surfing, however I am worried about the LTE being counted for Wi-fi..

I just wish my father would tell me this himself, he talks jokingly to me all the time like I am still a child. :rolleyes:

Congrats man, enjoy your iPhone. I hope you don't get a hardware defect iPhone with scratches.

Maybe mine will ship today or tomorrow. I seriously would be so happy if it did and even happier if I got a flawless iPhone..
 
My status just changed (about an hour ago (945AM PST)) to "Your order has been sent for processing"

The expected ship date has gone blank, but I still have no Tracking #

I pre-ordered on September 15 at 10:30am PST with an original delivery/shipment date of October 5, 2012.

I refreshed and the Ship Date changed to October 26. I refreshed a second after and it went back to blank. I refreshed again, and now I have a Tracking #, and I just received the email saying it's shipped!

Estimated Delivery: Tomorrow by 3pm!

How are the retail stores in Chicago stock level wise holding up. Would I be able to just rock up and order a white 64gb?

Got the shipment email from Verizon and received a FedEx tracking number for delivery tomorrow, 9/28! A full week ahead of schedule. :)

Hoping 9/16+ orders are filled tonight or tomorrow for a 10/1 - 2 delivery.

I should stop checking status for my black 32GB phone ordered the afternoon of 9/17. Maybe it is like a watch-pot that never boils.
 
Am i better off canceling my preorder with verizozn and just ordering it through apple?
