Am i better off canceling my preorder with verizozn and just ordering it through apple?

Well, it's hard to say. If you have an Apple store in your area they have a program now where you can purchase online and just go into the store and pick it up.

It may be worthwhile to call the your local Apple store (if applicable) and check on their stock levels and then go for it, if they have it in stock. And you could buy AppleCare+ at the same time!

I have a 10/5 shiping date and I haven't seen any changes since I placed my order. No cc charges or anything. Now I'm impatiently waiting for something to happen soon hopefully.

I ordered through my employer's website early on 9/14 and my company processed the order with VZW at 1:05PM EDT the same day. Was told to expect a 9/26 shipment. CC has not yet been charged and I'm holding on to hope that it will come tomorrow.

Ordered on 9/15, black 64gb, status just changed to "Your order has been sent for processing." Below that is a blank spot for expected ship date, tracking no., and courier.

Good news I hope?!

Edit: Not sure if charged yet, PNC online statements are down for the moment.

I think it depends a lot on what phone you ordered too. I order a black 32gb on the 15th at 4:25pm and I still haven't received an update.

Weird, because I ordered the black 32GB model on the 16th and the status has changed.

Ordered mine from vzw store on 9/17 in am and as I was on phone with vzw ordering another today I was notified my cc was charged at 3:43 pm EST. rep said I should get my tracking email tonight. Shipping is 2 day so it should arrive Mon or Tues!!

I knew that tracking info was too good to be true.

It said delivery today after a 2:30am pick up. Now West Chester, PA is only 90 minutes from me, but sort of thought that delivery by 3:00pm today was a bit too much to ask for.

Waiting for the tracking to update, but hopefully tomorrow.
