Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Either the 8th or the 15th of Sept. Not sure which weekend. I think it might have been the 15th.

Must have been the 15th, iPhone 5 wasn't even unveiled until the 14th.

I ordered the 16th, so I am hoping tracking tomorrow or tonight.

I hope you get a non-defective iPhone.
 
I received my email with my tracking number from Verizon this morning (7:30 AM) that all 3 of my iPhone 5s have shipped. I should be receiving them tomorrow before 3:00 PM. I live in New York.
 
Just got my Fed Ex tracking number! Just a quick summary, Ordered 32gb black ip5 on the 16th at 1145 am CDT. Earlier today got the update that my order was sent for processing, and now the fed ex number. Still not listed on Fed Ex site. Wonder if I will get it on friday or saturday. Either way, a week earlier than the October 5th delivery date.

I ordered at noon est on 9/16. 32g blk ip5 and my cc got charged at 4pm today and now it has been marked shipped with fedex and the tracking number doesn't have anything listed either. hopefully we get them soon!

When I received my shipment notification email from Verizon I couldn't track it either when I clicked on the "track it's progress" link but when I clicked on the tracking # itself it would redirect me and it would show the tracking details... Maybe you can try this... Hope it works.. I hope I made sense.. Lol
 
I just got off the phone with Verizon and the rep told me I might have to wait until November first that the preorder site is an estimate kinda irritating they keep changing my date to wait over a month

Hey guys, I preordered my iPhone around 11PM on 9/19. The expected ship/delivery date has always been 10/12. I just noticed tonight that the date is now blank and the status has changed to "Your order has been sent for processing." From reading other posts, it sounds like things start moving quickly from here. Does this mean I'll be getting my phone nearly two weeks ahead of schedule, or can it stay at this stage for awhile? My CC hasn't been charged yet, although it looks like there is some sort of hold. I bought the phone full price $800 and the hold is for $350, so I don't know if that is it or not. (Maybe Verizon doesn't hold for the full price of the order?)

I tried that too. The reason why "track it's progress" doesn't work is that it repeats the tracking number twice giving it one huge tracking number. When I clicked on the actual number, it said Not Found. Probably not updated yet on Fed Ex site. I decided to use the pre order number and the link with the preorder email. All it says is shipped on the 27th with the fed ex number.

You will get an email from verizon with the tracking number around 8 hours after that status change. So you should get it very soon. Perhaps friday or saturday? Don't know if fed ex delivers iphones on saturdays, so it could be monday.

You better not be... I would be one pissed off person! I ordered way before then and STILL have not had a status change. Calling Verizon is like hitting your head on a brick wall. CSR's have no clue NORE do they care.
 
Looks like my card might have been charged and my status changed from not saying anything to saying shipment will arrive before Oct 19th. Guess i'll see I will update.
 
CSR's are total jokers!
....i am in American Express HELL with these idiots...anyone else having these AE problems holding up their order?
 
Someone asked me about the wifi. It's fine. It's fast. No drops yet. I'll test more tomorrow.

I really hate having to set everything up again. I am already missing my iPhone 4's setup. I'll have to jailbreak again and re download my apps. Sigh.
 
If my order was having trouble with American Express would that change my shipping date further back? I ordered on the 17th and on my Verizon my status hasn't moved from "We received your order and it is in process." with a expecting shipping date of 10/5. It's on my dads card and he said that he hasn't received any emails from Verizon or American Express. What are the chances I am having billing issues and that's why my status hasn't changed?

Thanks man. Yeah hopefully you get info soon. I wasn't expecting mine for at least another week. And then I have a two week business trip so I wouldn't get it until I got back. That would have been a long three weeks for me. :)

You know this is crap I preordered on the 16th and haven't had any changes yet is anyone else feeling the same pain

Fed Ex site says delivery October 1. Good way to start October!
 
9/17 order will deliver today

My 9/17 afternoon order for 32GB black will deliver today, according to the shipping notice from Verizon.
