Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Recap - ordered 64gb black at VZW store morning of sept 17. My cc got hit with pending charge at around 4pm yesterday. Status order screen then changed to blanks with shipping date still oct 5. Then all info went blank around 11 last night. At 5:30 this morning finally got shipping notice email and fed ex tracking number from VZW. Says my phone is inMemphis and will be delivered Monday. All times are EST.
When I ordered phone, rep told me I should get mine early bc I ordered the least popular configuration. I think things will break loose on all the oct 5 shipping dates very soon

Interesting yours comes from Memphis and mine out of PA. I live in Nashville, so you'd think mine would originate in Memphis (FedEx headquarters there). Crazier yet for CrazyZ...mine arrives today from PA to Nashville. Your's takes until Monday.
Crazy or not. I can't wait for my phone to arrive. Maybe I should camp out at my doorstep and pretend it's launch day
I received an email at 1:33am today saying that my order has shipped! It left Memphis, TN at 5:38am and has an estimated delivery date of 10/1 by 3pm. That's 4 days sooner than expected!
Does anybody know if I have to be there to sign for the package at the time of delivery or will they just leave it?
My ip5 is finally leaving memphis! October 1st for the win! ordered 32g blk around noon est on the 16th

I'm heading to the Apple Store this weekend to get AppleCare+ and will bring it up at that point. What a hassle to return it though. If they have one in stock that they're willing to swap out I'll probably exchange it. If not, it's not the end of the world.
My phone left Memphis at 5:38. And then it returned at 5:40 am today. I guess it's not ready to come home
I've seen others post the same thing, so this is normal. On the other hand, you might be watching too closely! You know you're going to get it Monday. LOL!
64GB Black 10/5 Shipment
I ordered on the 17th (long story, issue with my plan) and have had 10/5 as my ship date all along. Today I get a ship notice and the phone is coming out of Memphis and will be delivered 10/1. Very nice surprise for the end of my week. Now I have an excuse to work from home on Monday.

I wonder if they are expediting shipments for new lines. Mine is a new line, and they are shipping Next Day Air. Some of you who got ship notices say you have to wait until Monday. I wonder if new lines trump old lines on shipping method?

I ordered on the 15th around noon, yesterday my card was finally charged at 6pm. When I woke up this morning, I had a tracking # and says that it will be delivered on the 1st. Have faith, it just takes some time. I ordered a 16GB/Black
I ordered a 3 32 gig in white on 9/14 at 1 pm and all I get is they punched my dates back in the preorder check from Verizon went from 10/05 to 10/19 now it's 10/26 and when I called last night the Verizon rep said it may be pushed back till November 1 that's almost two months from when I ordered
I really hope mine ships soon. I have seen everyone else who ordered later ad the same time as me have theirs ship already.

I think its completely random. I am porting numbers over so I would be considered new service as well.
I'm thinking about it I have friends who ordered after me like by a day or two who got them already or they are on their way and where I live all stores are saying they won't get them till an unknown time in October only thing keeping me from canceling is one is for my mother who has wanted an iPhone since they first came outI really hope mine ships soon. I have seen everyone else who ordered later ad the same time as me have theirs ship already.
